"Longo/Bags...talk to me about Jayson Tatum"

In the event that Danny takes him. He's the only top 4 guy that I haven't seen extensively. He's yall boy. What's up with him?

What I've heard: Melo/Pierce like mid range game. Harrison Barnes but more athletic. Shot creator. Can score on "all three levels" 84% free throw shooting wing.

What's his weaknesses?

If the Knicks want him theyll have to move up.

I like Tatum a lot. Like Frank said in the other post he reminds me of a slightly better Jabari (at this same stage).

Gonna be a guy that can play stretch 4 in the modern NBA (sorry Big Al--back to C you go)

It really fits the Celtics biggest immediate short term need if you can say that team has anything. But Tatum may be most ready to play in the NBA out of the top 4 picks besides Ball imo (but thats another post).

I think he'd be a phenomenal fit with the Celtics, though I'd also understand interest in Jackson there. It just depends ultimately what direction the Celtics want to go in. Tatum is the better offensive player, but he's no slouch defensively. Jackson is the better defensive player, but he's no slouch offensively. Do the Celtics want to improve immediately on defense or offense? Whoever the Celtics pick will reveal where they want to improve imo.
