"L Taken...congrats to Warriors fans"

KD was a monster. Body language was completely different. Looks relaxed and confident now, like he thought he was the best player on the floor at all times. Killed so many rallies. Series was officially over after his "moment" shot in game 3.

Steph redeemed himself. Best PG in the world. Still an incredibly annoying front-runner, but I get the strategy of taking "fuck it" threes with a double digit lead and trying to put the game out of reach. He outplayed Ky, no doubt. He ain't step up to guard Ky tho, but that's the Cavs front office fault. I'd love it Paul George occupied Klay and Steph had no choice. 30ppg in the series going to 35 minimum.

Shame niggas can't just respect Bron. He 32, dogg. He resume is impeccable. I've said before, he gonna be top 25 in each of the major stat columns. And when he does something drastic at age 35--if he don't win again in Cleveland--and joins fuckin Kawhi and AD and whoever else they can lure, I'mma just laugh. Dude ain't retiring with three titles. I know Mike and Kobe fans WISH it ends here, but....you know what? make that JUST Mike fans, because no real basketball fan buys Kobe over Bron, so that lil shit don't even matter...anyway the thing y'all keep discounting is that Bron is ACTIVE. y'all keepin your lil lighters in the air for them washed niggas, but he ACTIVE, with a body and basketball IQ that can get him 7-8 more years EASY. So, guffaw it up...he ain't done.

as far as Young Not Better Than Mo Williams and Maybe Mike Conley...like I told Backhanded Compliment McGee AKA Slicktalk de La Discredario, I ain't paying no more attention to them goalposts. Y'all can move them bitches to Mars for all I care. Only niggas who can talk to me are Steph fans. Aggy ass mournful Rose fans, y'all can eat a dick. Wall fans in here talmbout defense like a 4-9 nigga ain't put 53 on him. Paul washed. Dame stuck. Russ my dogg, but he look REAL BAD right now. Who else? Shit, Jrue still matter? Yeah, so don't you niggas talk to me. Because when we add shit up, all them lil narratives go out the window. So, I'll only defer to Steph fans. Hell, just Warrior fans, considering how most of this board had him being a specialist coming out. Dude is a monster and if you had a problem with me celebrating for a year (like the fuck i was SUPPOSED to), then i don't know what to tell ya. You party when it's your turn. It was my turn. Maybe you just didn't want me to have a turn. *shrug*

on to football... (when Bron go on his next ring run, this shit gonna be a distant memory like "no rings since spygate")

I'll even let this slide. (j/k)

And I'll say that this series gave me major, MAJOR respect for Kyrie. Like, seriously dude is clearly one of the best one-on-one players in the league. He hit some seriously amazing shots with guys like Draymond and Klay D-ing him up heavy, which rarely happens. I didn't talk shit about him before, but I really won't talk shit about him now.

I've got no skin in 'Bron vs. Kobe & Mike, so if he wins a late career title, I won't be mad.

For the rest of y'all: See, was that so fucking hard?

-The Knicks’ coaching search still includes a lone frontrunner, Kurt Rambis, whose qualifications for the position include a strong relationship with Jackson and a willingness to take the job.

Kyrie ain't prove shit. Steph sonned him.

We know he's a dribble dribble shoot guy. Stop calling him a point guard. And stop thinking that nigga is a star.

He's the guy that shoots when Lebron doesn't want to shoot.

The nigga has the hoops iq of a basketball player in an 80's music video.

He does funky fresh layups though.

Lol... I've be been going so hard on Kyrie.

Say Wall and you don't expect me to pop up? Especially after how mad you got during this playoffs.

Nigga no.

And maybe if they kept Liggins they'd have another defender on the perimeter who's not our age.

mouths to say anything bad about him.

Kyrie woulda needed to bomb in the finals just to break even with 2016.

Dude averaged 29 4 and 4 on 47% shooting.

If we scoffing at that we're putting him in LBJ/Durant territory.

bc they both round out to about 36-37 points. So what are we talking about.

I don't think that there was any cavs fan during this series taht was thinking, damn, i really wish kyrie would pass on some of these shots.

The role kyrie has on that team is a great complement to Bron. If kyrie was on a team where he had to be more of a traditional pg, you'd have a point. But he on this cavs team to score. And Cavs offense is very iso heavy.

what wall gon do when it's kicked to him for an open J? you think bron gon tolerate them bricks? you think he gon tolerate that trash ass 15 points on 4-18 against elite defenders like klay deep in the playoffs?

stop with the plug and play scenarios and just give credit. ky can score. every team can use that.

Let's not get too far in the weeds here....There are several reasons why people talk greasy about Kyrie (both fair and unfairly)

As someone who has rooted for Scottie Pip, it's a no brainer.....

Ky happens to play with the best player of his generation...A talent so transformative...so great that we are now debating if he is in the convo with MJ, Kareem, Magic, etc....

So the spotlight will continue to be on Kyrie as it was on Pippen....And the irony with Pip is HE ACTUALLY WAS A LEGIT MVP CANDIDATE WHEN MJ WAS PLAYING....And he led his team to the playoffs (without MJ) and was a bullshit call away from possibly reaching the Finals....

Kyrie earned his ring....The same way Dumars earned his ring...The same way Jet earned his ring in Dallas....The same way Kevin Mac earned his rings at Boston....Ky is a killer....He fills it up....When he has it going he's a joy to watch....

I don't think anyone is debating this^^^^^

The debate comes when u start to compare Kyrie to other successful PG's who have more responsibilities on their team...

GOAT of his era......long live Prince.....God is alive....

that's how mad these dudes are.

MEANWHILE...

these same guys cyse AI as a legend because he scored 35ppg in the 2001 finals...by BARELY making 40% of his shots. BARELY!

i ain't NEVER seen goal-posting shenanigans like this. he 25! they countin on him not improving. they wanted him to have alonzo gee and earl clarks his whole career.

let me tell you what i know. i would not be partying about kyrie's valiant efforts in carrying a lineup of gee, thompson, varejao and dion to the playoffs for a first round washing. i don't find it noble. i don't think it proves ANYTHING. it just means STUCK to me. i saw grant hill be stuck for 6 years, carrying guys like Terry Mills and Lindsey Hunter and Theo Ratliff to the playoffs...and getting CRUSHED. and he still got fried for not getting out the first round...with THEM!!! so, i have no tolerance for the "you gotta prove it by taking trash to the playoffs" narrative. bron took trash to the damn FINALS!!! and dudes use it against him. ain't nothing positive comes from playing with trash. nothing.

He carries the same weight as Dumars...as early Pippen...Hell, like I said before, he carries the same weight as Jason Terry when he was hitting HUGE shots for Dallas playing next to Dirk....

All all-star players (with Pip finally escaping the shadow of u know who years later...) who are champions....Can't take that ring from them....

Like I said....Kyrie is an offensive beast who has glaring weaknesses on defensive and with passing the ball....But he happens to be on the perfect team to cover those weaknesses....The question is would Kyrie have that same success if he was a team's primary player?

With Bron he can do what he's best at: giving defenders nightmares.......

Well....we at least have some proof that the Cavs were a lottery team in the weak East when Kyrie was the focus of the offense...Now there's a lot that goes into that....Kyrie's age, his all-or-nothing style of play, injury issues, and some of the bums he played with...

It's certainly not cut and dry. I'm just saying...We do have a file on Kyrie pre-James coming back....

we know that steph ain't go nowhere his first three years with trash either. we know wall didn't either.

so, as usual, you just talking.

ky's style of play is just fine and if he had a SHOOTER/defender at the two, a high IG glue guy at 3 and athletic big, he'd have mad the playoffs when he was 19, 20 and 21.

instead, he played with morons and d-league guys. and here you are STILL tryna get traction out of that. i can show you rosters in rose and kyrie first season and you'll just say "oh, it's because rose was better" because you are an agenda scanvenger, dogg. your act is lame.

Hey...Rose played with bums too.....U think people were going crazy over Keith Bogans (starting SG), Ronnie Brewer, and Rasual Butler? I mean, dude's second best player was your boy Boozer......And they still won 62 games....

And Wall was still leading his team to the playoffs with his second best player being injured most of the time....

The East was weak...Kyrie should have been at least been able to lead them to a 8th, 7th or 6th seed...

But the great thing is we will soon see what Kyrie can do with his own squad.....Because I don't see Bron sticking around Cleveland after next season.

don't try to sell anyone on salmons being a bum, dogg. he was not gee or earl clark. booz wasn't even THERE in rose first season. and if he were, he'd have been an all-star.

first time wall led his team to the playoffs is when they had nene, prime ariza and prime gortat...and BEAL, who played 73 games.

and which roster was kyrie supposed to take to the playoffs?

http://www.basketball-reference.com/teams/CLE/2012.html

http://www.basketball-reference.com/teams/CLE/2013.html

http://www.basketball-reference.com/teams/CLE/2014.html

could wall or steph take that to the playoffs their first three seasons?

here's the thing, i don't thing you're funny enough to be a troll. i just think you're too proud to admit you have an agenda and you still salty about me laughing at the bulls for nearly a decade and for not caring that rose a washed freak bamma. i think you take shots when you can and pull your hands back and act you like you straight shooter. that's what i think.

speaking of Butler, how well do you think Butler would help the Cavs if somehow the Cleveland front office managed to make that move happen? LeBron, Love, and Kyrie would remain on the team.

if for some reason they'd have to trade Love away to the Bulls or some other third team involved to make from for Butler dollar-wise? LeBron, Kyrie, and Butler would be the main three instead.

Kyrie is a star....I never said he wasn't.....

And what can I say after 2016? The same thing I said about the Jet when he was making clutch shots in the playoffs when he played for Dallas...

Clutch shot maker....Balls....Buckets....

And RBO said a lot MORE than that...lol

RUSSELL-cousy-jones-havelicek (all HOFs and none had to prove none of that "own team" BS)

DUNCAN-Parker (HOFer...people accepted him as #2 and some even said he was the best PG for a time)

BIRD-McHale (HOFer...a #2...considered for a time to be the best PF of all time)

ISIAH-Dumars (HOFer ...a #2 who's been so praised that he's overhyped)

being the #2 was never a "bad" thing until agendas got involved. and contrary to popular belief, i ain't start agendas.

what's happening with kyrie is KOBE HATE on steroids. y'all be possting with a straight face about what he gotta prove and you essentially want him to do it by himself. what happened with steph in GS was once in a generation. Klay was the PERFECT piece. Dray was a steal. Bogut was a steal. Iggy. Shaun. When you win a title with a PG as your #1, you gotta have a near perfect roster of interchangeable pieces and a great coach. ky ain't even have a chance at that his first three years. we saw them pay alonzo gee. we saw them try manny harris and joe harris as the SGs of the future. We saw them kick the tires on samardo and luke walton. and y'all be SERIOUS about him taking that somewhere.

all i ever said was when ky get a chance to SHINE, he won't be scared and he gonna show y'all. and since he been in the playoffs, that's all he does. y'all wanna ignore him actually balling when given a SHOT at success and keep bellyaching about how he got there.

so, if y'all gon keep downplaying what this dude doing, what choice do i have but to make fart noises at all the alleged "stars" who DON'T MAKE THE PLAYOFFS OR FOLD LIKE KENNY ROGERS WHEN THEY GET THERE?

it's y'all bammas who perpetuate these agendas, not me. if i ain't have to hear about how ky wouldn't have mattered in 2015 and how steph was gon outplay him anyway and he a liability on D and delly was a better fit...if i ain't have to eat ALL THAT for a year, i wouldn't have called steph a fraud. i wouldn't have gon hard like a did. but once again, y'all take it too far and i'm the problem for over doing it when it's my turn.

i got some agendas for y'all ass next season. believe that.

them to a #1.

That's why nobody compares Scottie to Bird and Dr J.

That's why nobody compares Dumars to Jordan or Drexler.

Kobe was considered a #2 by a lot of people until he got his as a #1.

Until Kyrie doesn't something without Lebron his legacy will always have a cap on it.

and again, kyrie is small guard. gonna need to be a helluva building process to contend with a small guard as a #1.

and when does this end? because i KNOW y'all not letting it end with simply making the playoffs.

U don't get named amongst the top 50 players of all time without not earning franchise/superstar player status....

Pip's numbers and playoff success after MJ left says otherwise.....I mean, Pippen finished THIRD in MVP voting after Jordan left....

This should not even be a debate...

1. Kyrie is not in McHale's league...

2. Worthy is def. a glaring exception....I will give u that...

3. Like others have said....Even someone u agreed with....U want people to put Kyrie in that No.1 bracket...He's not there...

U act like someone pointing out that Kyrie has yet to prove that he is a franchise player is calling him a BITCH ASS NIGGA....

I've seen the kid's game...He's basically Vinnie "Microwave" Johnson on steroids with SICK HANDLES....

He's subpar on D and doesn't make his teammates better....But his offensive skill set is GREAT.....I don't see where the controversy is...

for your to jump RIGHT INTO GOAL-POSTING with...

"kyrie is not in mchale's league"

explain what purpose that serves, other than tryna discredit kyrie?

the ISSUE is mchale was his team's best player and was still top 50, despite you saying those things were mutually exclusive. so, i don't have to address a comparison between ky and mchale. YOU need to address why you were wrong and why you can't admit it like a grown ass man.

Goalpost? I've said the same thing I've always said about Kyrie since he came out...Superb offensive talent....Would love him on my squad....But not as the main guy....

I said it during the PG Warz....And I said it when he won a ring....

Never said he was not a star...Never said he didn't contribute to that championship....Kyrie is the perfect player for James.....

But if I were forced to pick other PG's before him I have about 5 right off the jump....

when it wasn't even the issue? i don't need to read your boilerplate horseshyt about kyrie no more. i'm asking why you moved the goalposts from BOTH kyrie and mchale being #2s to "well, kyrie ain't on mchale level"...well, yanno murph, kyrie closer to mchale than jason terry is to kyrie.

so, anyway, when you ready to man up and just say "my top 50/franchise premise was WRONG", i'll give you props as a straight shooter. because all you doing right now is looking like a dirty ass little weasel.

but, to get all indignant and be calling me out about how i DUCK Ls...SMH. nah. i ain't lettin that stand. if we wanna make this agenda shyt about character and RNS, some of these dudes are some shameless punk ass gasbags. i sat back and watched these jokers during the super bowl go from partying to conspiracy theorists in MINUTES instead of just congratulating folks, acknowledging greatness and shutting they asses up.

sometimes i look at the way these dudes post with all their whining and excuses after they take an L the way charles grodin looked at martin short in clifford. they just cannot admit defeat. it's always an excuse.

Lebron makes a lot of people look great. He got Tristan money. He got people talking about JR like he has some sense. And has people thinking Kyrie is a star.

Without him, that's more visits to the lottery.

the shit he's done ALREADY and to still be so young is shit y'all WISH these other niggas would have done.

and y'all can credit bron until your assholes bleed lava, because kyrie was an empty-stat all-star just like a lotta niggas y'all cyse on this board.

y'all niggas really enjoyed alonzo gee in that corner and SWORE kyrie was gon be the third wheel when bron and love came. suddenly, he became the nigga taking the big shots and closing playoffs games and shit and now y'all picking your goalposts up like the bitches you are and making up all new criteria.

how bout instead of poking out y'all lips and going "can't wait 'til bron leaves" (as if he's not gonna drop a quick ass 30ppg) when that happens, you just take this shit like a G and say "yeah...he good"

some fuckin "deep down"....nigga, deep down i saw AI shoot philly outta games for nearly a decade. deep down i saw niggas like stack and hughes not wanna play with him. deep down i saw melo not really wanna play with the nigga. deep down i saw the analytics era push his ass out the league with no ceremony.

deep down, the nigga was a cultural icon who wasted so many offseason DRINKING and PARTYING and SMOKING instead working on a jumper that could have carried his ass until his 40s like jason terry did.

go cry, nigga. he GONE. you nigga worse than kobe fans.

This would've been an entirely diff. series if CLE takes care of business in game 3 (a game they controlled throughout and should've won).

You do have to just tip your hat to a play like that - he was due for it.

I thought Ky balled (once again) on the big stage. Definitely had something bother his lower body the other night - but he played through it like a G and gave it his all.

Let's see what happens if CLE can get on equal footing with GS and add someone like P. George to this squad.

the thing that disgusts me about most dudes on this board is the complete LACK of cap-tapping and PERPETUAL, DOGGED, PATHETIC assaults on legacies and tryna find loopholes to soften the blow....the ref-blaming, the injury excuses....like, just say you mad and KIM. I was mad, so I ain't post for a few days. Very simple.

KD balled. he flat out outplayed bron.
Steph balled. he flat out outplayed ky.

GS fans should be happy. Nobody salty at them. It's these scavengers, young! always bottom-feeding, looking for their lil morsel of make 'em mad flesh. YOUR TEAM SORRY, DOGG!!!! LAKERS! BULLS! KNICKS! BLAZERS! WIZ! your "STARS" are stat-padding losers and ALWAYS in ALL WAYS folds when the moment arrives (oh, he TIRED...TIRED??!!?!?!?). y'all not winning NOTHING! so all these lil side comments are wack.

and then these bammas always talmbout "yeah, basa can't take an L...he gon leave"

meanwhile...

Brady win..."IT'S DEM REFS!!!!!" "THE GAME CHEATIN FOR HIM"

Bron win..."WELL, IF RAY ALLEN HAD'NA..." "IF DRAYMOND HAD'NA"

Duke win...."REEEEEEEEEEEFS!!!!!!!!!!"

the SAME DUDES who won't me to take Ls and party like LiNell Richie when someone I like loses are the SAME DUDES who say that stuff. THE SAME DUDES. HOW?!?!?

like, i'm REALLY gettin tired of some the bitches on this board.

And yeah, sometimes youu gotta take a couple of days to let that mad drip off.

It happened to me last year lol

-The Knicks’ coaching search still includes a lone frontrunner, Kurt Rambis, whose qualifications for the position include a strong relationship with Jackson and a willingness to take the job.

i said knicks, but i wasn't thinking about you, dogg. you don't be hostile 24/7. i used to think i was good with all knicks fans and we just tried to get at each other on some fun, but some of your fellow knicks fans so mad they follow me from thread to thread on agendas that have nothing to do with them...i can be cysing jai alai and if the player i like takes an L, here they come tryna get in on the party. FOR WHAT?!??!

i be mad, dogg. and sometimes i legit wanna slap dudes. i admitted that's why i bounced a few years ago. thought ky blew a knee, celery talked slick. i said to myself, "yeah, get some perspective champ...you too mad." so, i left. and when KD hit that big ass jumper in bron face, i ain't watch another game and i ain't come back to this board for a while. like, dudes really be tryna act like they Dr. Lecter behind these keyboards when the psych eval is pretty simple...

YOUR TEAM LOSES, YOU GET MAD.

YOUR GUY GETS INJURED AND PEOPLE PARTY...YOU MAD!

YOU DRAFT A BUM...YOU MAD!

YOUR GUY GETS OUTPLAYED...YOU MAD!

YOUR GUY AIN'T GOT NO RINGS WHILE THE GUYS YOU SAY HE BETTER THAN STRAIGHT STACKING HARDWARE...YEAH, YOU MAD!

so, all this tryna act like you too cool and so mature...stop it. we all little boys in this muhfukka. we love sports and we wanna talk shyt and make the other guy wanna fight. that's what we do.

it's bammas on here want me to be mad about my guy losing in the finals after averaging 30, but they get mad when i say Krazy Kuts ain't improved a bit and just might be the next larry hughes and be posted WILD when that bamma get hot and have a nice lil 30 spot. of course, that trash ass 11 on 3-14 coming right behind it, but i'm the bad guy.

at least the young boys on the coli post with masks off.

As much pain James has caused my squad, I co-sogn this very point below...even as a Bulls fan.....

"Shame niggas can't just respect Bron. So, guffaw it up...he ain't done."

When this happened:

http://www.basketball-reference.com/playoffs/2015-nba-eastern-conference-semifinals-bulls-vs-cavaliers.html

I just ate that L. Wasn't nothing to say. And I blamed the Bulls because they gave up. Literally were up 2-1 and folded 3 straight games.

But you KNOW you are this boards biggest agitator so they gonna celebrate your L's most (O_E squarely at #2).

As an MJ stan...you spot on. I'm hoping Bron don't win no more rings. Because he gets 2 more I'll have to concede him as the greatest player ever. He gets 1 more and I'd have to put him next to Mike as a 1b. And I don't want to have to do that lol.

But personally, unless the Cavs work some voodoo this offseason or Bron moves on after next season to a team set up to compete with the W's, I think this was it for buddy. 34yr old Bron gonna be good but I dunno. Well at least I hope.

I'm perfectly happy with Bron top 2-3. I want MJ's run to be longer but I'll definitely concede when it's over.

And lastly, Ky is great. Definitely a primetime performer. But you and I both know, he's not going to get the universal respect you want him to have until he does it on his own (or when Bron is no longer capable of carrying as huge a chunk of the load and Ky takes over). He's gonna need an MVP season and more of the same from his playoff performances. Right now he on McHale status. You want him to be on Bird status. I think he has the tools to get there but will he is another story. I'm watching though. Dudes game is beautiful.

He wins another 3 or 4 with this squad and plays like he did this finals, shit, he gonna start getting Goat talk too. When he joined the team, didn't think it would help his legacy since didn't think he could be the man with all those all stars around him. I was wrong tho and he made the right decision for his legacy. Like Jerry West put to him, he may have won a chip in OKC but the road was much tougher and now he appears to be on a dynasty unless teams can make serious adjustments.

As far as Bron he and his fans set him up for the hate trying to put him on Jordan's level and leapfrog him over a lot of other great players, #RingsMatter: http://board.okayplayer.com/okp.php?az=show_topic&forum=21&topic_id=103936

This is how you take an L.

You party when you win, and you're unreasonable about it (it is funny though) - but you lose with grace, so that's commendable.

I'm not saying they're fair, and I'm not saying they're accurate.

I mean hell - hindsight being 20/20, some of your agendas are dumb as shit too, obviously.

You did call Steph Curry a fraud. A lot. That was dumb.

Anyway...people can learn to party and take L's gracefully. I think you've shown that. You've had fun and said stupid shit too - sure, people check you on it, but you ARE one of the more vocal posters here. You swing for the fences and sometimes you strike out...that's how this shit happens.

I tend to think I'm mostly reasonable, and I've never thought Mo Williams was better than Kyrie (nor had I ever posted anything like that) but I can snicker because people are really posting it to get under your skin. Like, remember the Cavs beating the first year Heatles? We all had our lulz but nobody REALLY thought the Cavs were better than them.

Kyrie is a straight killer. He has the best handle and in the lane finishing of any guard in the league right now.

They just have to figure out how to get points when he is just out there and Bron isn't.
