because it was looking like the warriors were about to blow it open. spurs got a fighter's chance but if GS outplays them badly in the first 5 minutes of the third, it's over.
LaMarcus is useless. Spurs would be better with Tyrus Thomas right now.

Dude is basically what Odumb was pre-MVPau, he has been outplayed by Simmons who's the equivalent of Smush Parker.
The sad thing is RC/Pop are going to waste one more season of Kawhi's prime as he will be forced to play w/ the corpse of Parker/Pau & Softridge will still be the faux wing-man. Manu is most likely retiring & Simmons is most likely going to be overpaid by another team so the supporting cast is going to be listless other than Murray who has outplayed Patty.
The only hope for the team in the offseason is unloading Softridge/Pau on a desperate team like the Nuggets for someone like Wilson Chandler & young prospects.
