the original photo of the receipt posted to reddit didn't properly obscure the last four digits of the credit card, so that's pretty terrible right there.
Now that this person shared this detail, I wonder how many folks are harassing this server to get a portion of that tip? Props to Pop for being generous with his money, but that server should have kept that much more private.

but that comes from a background in bartending, I suppose. individual tips don't make sense to me and tip pools foster a team mentality across the board.
unless you mean the drama would stem from having a traditional tipping strategy, in which case, yea. that person better be footing the after hours bar tab for a week-plus.
