kemba was really good. flashes of good iverson, but only on offense. 30 on 17 shots. he and kaminsky are good, everyone else is meh. MKG played hard, but i didnt realize marvin williams even played for the hornets until the 3rd qtr. batum did nothing because...
KCP was better. 31/9/3 with 7/15 from deep and 17 of our last 25. batum had 18/6/3 on 6/17(1/7) and i was surprised he had even that many. by the end of the game batum was missing the whole rim.
the last 10-12 min of play (incl all of OT) was Leuer, Harris, Marcus, KCP, and Ish Smith (16 dimes). Hornets gagged a 15 pt lead with 10 to play. Drummomd wasnt bad when he played (26 min 12&13 on 6/10) but that group was just on fire. Jackson on the other hand was quite bad, and apparently he had a heating pad on his knee. IDGAF what anyone says, hes obviously not healthy. With the entire core under team control to 2019 or later, it might be time to think about a shut-down. They were absolutely right not to panic trade him, but he also may not be able to help this year.

We couldn't have sent him to a better fit. Not only the shoot without consequences mentality but he also takes some play-making pressure (and subsequent fatigue) off Harden.

I've never seen this in all my years... no shit, it's not how the rules work! And there was no reason anyone should have thought that was legal.
A. You should have wondered why the clock started since Ty didn't touch the ball. B. If you blanked on that rule for a second, you should have been nervous about Ty getting an 8-second count.
i could be wrong, but i thought clock should always be running after made shots (except last 2 mins)
shot clock and 8 second count don't have to run just because the game clock is running since those start on contact
most teams don't do the roll ball down the floor thing until the end of the game and definitely not to this extreme so it probably just hasn't been noticeable

I was so used to people holding off touching the ball to prevent the clock from starting that I didn't even put 2 and 2 together than it hadn't reached the 2-minute mark.
