In an interview with the San Antonio Express-News Thursday, it was reported that Duncan loved carrot cake and Pop took note of that early on in the future Hall of Famer's career. While away on the road, Pop reportedly used to look for the best restaurant to eat at in the Spurs' opponent's respective city, eat there, and then buy a carrot cake to take back to the team's hotel in a doggy bag for Duncan. Like a true loving dad, Pop would nicely place next to Duncan's hotel room door.

i think you meant right-wing, right? anyway, i have no doubt about that, that's why i typed pseudo military vibes by NFL coaches, spewing out stereotypes when it comes to respecting the flag. and not to shit on all NFL coaches either, I was just thinking of that terrible School of Hardknocks series with Jeff Fisher and some remarks made to the Kaep stance by other individuals.

Boban Marjanovic was willing to give up more than 10 million dollars to stay with the Spurs this season.
But instead of trying to convince him to stay, Gregg Popovich offered a simple math lesson according to the San Antonio Express-News.
“He’s such a good kid, at some point I had to work to get him to understand that $21 million was different than $3 million,” Popovich said. “I said, ‘Get your ass out of here. Go. You’ve got to do it.’ But he felt bad.”
If Marjanovic had taken far less money to stay with the Spurs, he certainly wouldn’t be the first person to take a pay cut to stay with Popovich. Tim Duncan, for example, took a huge pay cut to help his team. But Marjanovic isn’t quite at Duncan level with career earnings. And now? He told the newspaper he was pretty happy with his decision to take the $21 million.
“My first wish was to stay,” Marjanovic said. “But this is good now. I think I made a good decision.”
