I thought it was interesting that out of the group of fans that only one guy tried to pull the fight apart.
It reminds me of a study done in New York where a woman was being assaulted and the block of people looked on or listened in, but no one called the police or stepped in because they all expected someone else to call the police or step in.

Quiet as kept, the state of California has some of the most barbaric NFL fans. I feel like there's at least 1 or 2 stabbing/shootings that take place either in San Fran or Oakland every season.

fans outpaced them bringing the fight outside their region (that brawl with Cardinals fans in AZ, etc.). Cause you have the standard Norteño base that's just showing up in the parking lot to fight, then you have the fact that they became good for a few years and had a rep as a hard-hitting, aggressive team, and it created an image for their fanbase.
Chargers / Raiders fans ALWAYS got into it as a general rule. Proximity created the rivalry. My homeboy's Mom is a diehard Chargers fan and when our other homie told her he was a Raiders fans she dead ass went from sweet and friendly to cold as ice in a heartbeat.
Rams coming back to LA is definitely going to bring the gang elements back into the mix, and the combined thuggery of all the southland.
i still remember the days at candlestick of being asked by the 'wine and cheese' crowd to sit down 'cause we were standing for up too long/cheering too loudly. i LOL 'cause that all looks tame now compared to what goes down during games.

i went up there to see the eagles many times in all eagles shit and talking trash (we won all but one of the games, a 10-7 snoozefest anyway). a lot of them tried to talk shit but i never got the sense that any of them would swing.
i did the same shit at dodger stadium during the NCLS's against philly but i definitely felt i had to be prepared to fight and there were a couple situations where i definitely held my tongue, especially being there with my dad who is an older guy. same shit at the raider games, i wasnt afraid to go in there wearing eagles stuff but i definitely avoided confrontation where possible.

a couple of fights have happened in 2 weeks...both instigated by drunk fans of the visiting team...and the LAPD and security presence in and around the stadium has been more than effective...
The LA region puts on more pro and big time college sporting events in a year than any other region in the country.... multiple times putting over 70K in 2 football stadiums in the same city....on the same day....
