"The King and Ky: Can the NBA stand the reign? "

You've had a week to digest what happened.

Just a few questions...

How's that convincing yourself that Bron will get old before he can threaten Jordan's six rings thing going?

Do you really believe a championship-caliber basketball player who just turned 24 about 90 days ago isn't going to get exponentially better in the next two years?

Will Bron go for more MVPs...yanno, just for the hell of it?

Is it unfair that the King, who is more than capable of murking anyone, can simply dispatch his young, bloodthirsty Hand to assassinate anyone who comes for his throne?

Ain't it crazy the Cavs weren't even whole until after the break and didn't start jelling until March...and still won it all? Warriors stayed healthy for two years and built all that chemistry. Man, that's crazy.

Will Randolph and Mortimer hire Beeks to intercept and switch the UA Steph II sales report before they lose millions fucking with them bamma ass official shoes of the Senior Games?

Will Bron shoot his jumper more? If he does and it goes in, are you done with basketball in June?

Are you going to write a letter to Adam Silver complaining about how Kyrie is ruining the game when he crosses up Russ in the 2017 Finals, making him fall, then throwing the ball in the stands and dancing like Hot Sauce while excited fans rush the court and the game has to be stopped?

Everybody gets old. He's probably gotta 4-peat if he's going to tie him.

>Do you really believe a championship-caliber basketball player

>exponentially better in the next two years?

He might. Hope so. There's room to grow.

Maybe. He's reached Jordan, Shaq(for awhile) "he could win it every year, but probably won't because they'll give it to the next big thing having the great year" status.

>Is it unfair that the King, who is more than capable of
>murking anyone, can simply dispatch his young, bloodthirsty

LOLSMH. If this isn't some coat-tail riding, Kenny Bania being the fish eating Seinfeld's laughs shit....

>Ain't it crazy the Cavs weren't even whole until after the
>break and didn't start jelling until March...and still won it
>all? Warriors stayed healthy for two years and built all that

Kinda like when the Mavs gelled and Jason Terry went apeshit a few times and they won it.

>Will Randolph and Mortimer hire Beeks to intercept and switch
>the UA Steph II sales report before they lose millions fucking

Curry 2's >> Kyrie 2's - at basically everything. Hopefully Nike stops holding back on Kyrie and gives him the good shit. With Kobe retired and Kyrie coming off helping win a title, they might. Now's the time.

>Will Bron shoot his jumper more? If he does and it goes in,

If it's going in, he'll probably shoot it more.

Because of the pricepoint, and the traction is very good(about the same as the Curry's though).

But there's no cushion in those at all. Hard as fuck on the feet. I'm not really a fan of the looks either, but that's subjective(Kyrie 1's looked dope IMO). Put the GOOD zoom in them(Nike usually bullshits on that now) either full length or both heel and forefoot, and they'd be great.

Hopefully they go all out for the Kyrie 3.

but in the right colors (not the Huarache ones), I like the Kyrie 2s.

I might have to see what's up (I haven't bought a "bullshit" pair of shoes in forever)

they are definitely better than the Curry 2s, any color

The traction is great, the cushion is good(huge advantage on the Kyrie's here), they are light and not clunky at all, and the fit might be the GOAT. They are snug and comfortable, supportive, but not restrictive at all. Moreso than any shoe I've played in, I forget that I even have them on when I'm playing.

People want to shit on them because the UA logo looks stupid on shoes, that's another argument altogether. If I'm playing pickup hoops in them, I couldn't care less about that. Other than Kobe 11's, there's not a non-retro basketball shoe out that I would wear off the court so I don't care about what they look like.

I tried a lot of hoops shoes this past year because I hadn't bought any in awhile and was curious of what was out there now. Curry 2's and Rose 6's are easily my favorites.

The first ones were just cheap POS, like a crappier version of the Hyperfuse. No cushion, hard, thin, just not made for anyone who wasn't in junior high school when frankly you could wear any shoe. Some of the colors looked smooth, the all-star ones, 4th of July was OK.

The second ones were just a wobbly mess. Again I liked some of the models (red velvet, all-star, etc) in terms of appearance but overall I wasn't feeling them and they were low-tech for sure. The uppers were better and so was the traction but overall I was underwhelmed.

I haven't played in the 3s yet. They don't have a lot going on but the have a clean silhouette. Overall people think this was a rebound year for Nike basketball, but that just shows how sorry they have been recently. KD9 Elite is a good shoe, looks hideous. LeBron 14 is the Bron in at least three years but $175 for a foam-upper shoe? Ridiculous. The Kobe AD is garbage, almost as garbage as the Kobe 10. Secondary models have gone in both directions, HD 2016 was an improvement over 2015 for sure, but the Rev series went backwards (HyperRev 2016 was a low key great performer).

And you will know MY JACKET IS GOLD when I lay my vengeance upon thee.

I know a couple people who have it and they love it.

Kobe 11 EM is my favorite recent Nike to play in. Fits my foot and just locks it in perfectly, great traction, light, and the cushioning is about right for me...not overboard to where I'm sinking in it, but not rock hard or nonexistent.

Jason Terry was the hero of 2011, the holder of the Ether Can that brought Dirk his long awaited REAP.

Kyrie is incomparable.
All those jokes about how he doesn't pass, and how he parties on yachts like he's Orenthal J. Bryant? Up in smoke.

Rookie of the Year
FIBA MVP
All-Star Game MVP
NBA Champion

soon to be Olympic Gold Medalist
LeBron James saw it and it got him title #3.

Jorn took breaks during his run and didn't make six straight NBA finals. Bron could get six and these same people chastize him for not winning six straight chips in six attempts.

Jorn didn't threaten eight rings or 11 rings and everyone gives him a pass over it so Bron is fine.

They'll give it to Melo, Steph or someone else again to spite Lebron.

It's like Gucci Mane dispatching Waka to handle shit. It's like Hov calling in hungry Kanye to put in work.

That chemistry consists of Draymond on his goon shit and Klay guarding the best player. Their chemistry was worthless as they failed to live up to the hype three games in a row.

In response to Reply # 27

that boy was never even close to fat. all you had to do was look at him out of uniform. he wear so much extra crap under his baggy ass uniform that people couldn't tell. i swear kyrie wore rib pads at one point.

they needed something to say and the jumped on it. now they pretending it never happened.

i'm glad kyrie didn't force the weight on with excessive lifting. all them injuries to his shoulders were small sacrifices.

he's a man now. looks to be a legit 200lbs with about 7% body fat.

In response to Reply # 27

lots of natural chunky dudes can get ripped for a couple months/years, but that doesn't change that they are naturally ecto(?)morphic. the test will be whether kyrie stays in shape enough to continue to deliver in the playoff cauldron. that will remain a challenge, but he's obviously off to the best possible start.

and at the very least he got in shape once. That's more than other notable ectoscorphic players.

Bron has 3-4 more years of MVP-level play left -- Ky has 3-4 more years until he actualizes his peak years. The next 3-4 years will be epic levels of dynamism and 1, 2 punch combinations from Ky & Kang.

If you watch the end of game 7 you see something very telling: Bron trusted Kyrie - like *really* trusted him - and Kyrie delivered in superstar-like fashion unlike any other teammate Bron has played with.

Still - it's telling that lames are all on the boards like 'oh, cool shoes Ky!' when they were lathered in libel & slander just 3 weeks ago. NOPE - throwing a flag on the play.

For the next year miserable simps will be treated like subordinates to Cersei who deserve torment and merciless trolling.

SHAME. SHAME. SHAME.

3-4 seems generous with so many miles on him. He's played more ball than like...anyone ever the last 6 years. I wouldn't blame him for going full on 2nd fiddle the year after next but again - I didn't think he'd ever win again so what do I know?

Jordan extended his prime the same way. If Kob hadn't had catastrophic injuries, he'd still be averaging at least 24ppg. They always in shape, dogg. It's different.

I feel so blessed to have LeBron influencing the young legend with his work habits.

but other aspects of his game have matured and I thought this was arguably his greatest playoff run through and through yet. Certainly was his best Finals performance (and likely the greatest Finals performance from any player in the league's history).

Also - he continually comes into the season in great shape and really knows how to pace himself throughout the regular season now. Match that with the fact that Kryie is more than capable of pulling a heavy load (moreso than any other Bron teammate in his career) - I think it bodes well for 3-4 more high quality seasons from Bron. Not saying he'll win another MVP as that takes consistent high-output during the regular season - but I think we'll see MVP-level play from him in the playoffs for the next few years - which will be great timing for Ky because as Bron tapers off - Kyrie emerges in his prime.
