According to sources, the Wiz are locked in on making a major offer to Joakim Noah. The Wizards are said to be willing to offer Noah, coming off shoulder surgery that KO’d him in January, a full maximum contract. His deal would start at $28 million and reach around $120 million over four seasons.
It's sad I can think of three examples with no problem when it comes to my Knicks; only one to my knowledge involves a max contract like this potential move does though (A. Houston).

-The Knicks’ coaching search still includes a lone frontrunner, Kurt Rambis, whose qualifications for the position include a strong relationship with Jackson and a willingness to take the job.

Where does Noah fit with the Wiz? Quiet as kept we need more point production and we don't get that with an injured dude just passing out of his prime.
Now if they sign him to like a mid level exception, that's different. Or if they moved Gortat.
But right now I don't like it. Not that I don't like Noah. As a player he brings that fire and work ethic, but we don't need to pay him 120 for 4. No fucking way.
I'd be surprised if he played solid minutes as a starter in 2016-2017.
I wonder if Thibs wants this dude in Minnesota or not. Noah and Garnett would be tons of fun for so many reasons.
I don't know how appropriate it would be to call Garnett Studio Thug since he is almost toward retired elder status and I want to give him the respect he deserves.

so hopefully this is a rumor started by his agent or something. Marketing or negotiating tactic started by someone.
Also seeing reports that he's in NY right now and he had dinner with Rose last night in the big apple. ______________________________________________________________________________

Lot of hysterics from the league about the Player's Association forcing them to spend this much money. And then go right back to what they were doing before.

Players gave up 4% of the revenues during the previous CBA & are now going to ask for a hike so it's only going to get crazier.
