Solid enough return for OK City although I'm not a fan of Dipo. Love the deal for Orlando. Vooch, Serge, and Gordon is a pretty sweet frontcourt.

Just need a legit PG.

Love the deal. Dip was clearly the best player in that class and now he really gets to shine. They get a vet and a rookie who can chip in 15-20 good minutes right away IMO, later assume some of Serge's role. I am very surprised at this deal for the Magic. They think very highly of Ibaka, I guess, trading their best player who is still improving and a very good rookie. Presti did his thizzle here. The West just got even more intriguing.

And you will know MY JACKET IS GOLD when I lay my vengeance upon thee.

In college I didn't think he was bad off the ball. How much did he really play that sort of game in Orlando? They didn't have anyone to take it away from him. Dude will score 15 a night off the break and cutting to the rim. He is the best starting two guard the Thunder have ever had. Finally they have a guy who can play both ways.

And you will know MY JACKET IS GOLD when I lay my vengeance upon thee.

They traded Dipo b/c they chose Fournier over him who turned out to be a better offensive player. Dipo was shooting something terrible when he was playing w/ playing off the ball in a starting lineup that had Payton/Harris/Vuc/Fournier thus ended up being converted into a 6th man.

He got inserted back into the starting lineup when Payton got injured & got to handle the ball more when Harris got traded.

Serge is some bullish

-The Knicks’ coaching search still includes a lone frontrunner, Kurt Rambis, whose qualifications for the position include a strong relationship with Jackson and a willingness to take the job.

Yes, the dead owner of an NBA team in the 43rd largest media market is a "cheapskate" because he (they) wouldn't pay an insane luxury tax to keep three players who demand 20+ shots a game together. The nerve!

I seriously wonder what video game some of y'all live in.

They moved them from the 14th biggest media market so I don't think he should get a pass for the small market angle. If they would have let Presti clean up his Perk mistake, it would have solved a lot of problems but Clay refused.

Presti shouldn't get fried for having to deal Harden. You could argue that he should have chosen Ibaka but Ibaka seemed like the better fit with Westbrook and Durant.

The fact that Presti keeps adding guys like Waiters and Dipo who are best with the ball in their hands is what he can get dinged for.

I guess this opens up room for Henzonja, but it clogs things up for Aaron Gordon.

Hennigan still believes in Elfrid and they are going to try to re-sign Fournier. Ibaka gives them a veteran PF; yes, it moves Gordon to the bench but Ibaka is simply better than Gordon at this point.

Orlando has to start winning. Hennigan can't keep losing with his young guys who are good, not great. I'm a fan of Ibaka so I'm good with this deal for them. Vooch, Ibaka, Gordon is a nice frontcourt tandem. They have a shitload of money to spend as well so they can make a run at some FAs.

Yeah, Ibaka will go back to leading the league in blocks under Vogel & Gordon is suited for a bench role as a hybrid forward until he figure it out.

The only thing they really need is a starting PG & Conley makes sense if they want to win NOW. Otherwise, they have to pay Fournier in July & Ibaka next summer.

The backcourt can survive with him and Henzonja work better with Payton.

OK, now that's an overpay for the Magic. Yes, they need Ibaka but I didn't realize he only had one year left on his deal. Great move by the Thunder to sell now since I doubt they could have afforded him next offseason.

Definitely raises the stakes for Orlando. They needed a veteran but a roll of the dice that he doesn't walk next year.
