the league since 2009, I guess he didn't play much those first couple of years.

In my mind he was a young guy just coming into his own, in reality this is probably his prime.

Or having separate posts?

If separate:

Upgrade for Indy.

Solid return for Atlanta (never really bought the Nerlens for Teague talk.) Skal or Beasley might be good fits for them; could catch someone who slides.

Don't get it for Utah. I know they don't want to get younger but you have to do better than George Hill on an expiring deal for the #12. And as questionable as their PG play was last year, I'm not sure Hill really moves the needle enough for them not to be in the same position next year.

Muphuckas had Shelvin Mack starting at PG & they were going to have a difficult time getting a decent one in the FA market. Hayward/Hood have shown that they can run the offense so what they needed was a ball handler that can play off the ball & Hill is one of the best at it:

-"Hill was a consistent off-ball threat. So much so that the now 30-year-old shot 44.9 percent on catch-and-shoot three-pointers this season, which trailed only Stephen Curry, J.J. Redick, Kawhi Leonard, and Kyle Lowry (minimum 300 points scored off the pass)"

On top of it, he plays excellent defense which fits in w/ the Jazz's identity.

WHAT'S GOOD *****? What's REALLY good?!?!????!!! Ha HA!

-The Knicks’ coaching search still includes a lone frontrunner, Kurt Rambis, whose qualifications for the position include a strong relationship with Jackson and a willingness to take the job.

I don't see why Utah wouldn't trade for Teague instead of Hill here. Why not just make a direct trade with Atlanta for the better player. #12 for Hill is fucking retarded, I am sorry, that is a terrible deal for the Jazz.

I am happy about this deal because it means Colangelo is not going to give away a good piece for a rental of Teague. Nice deal for the Hawks, that's a pretty high pick for a guy who you were going to let walk in 12 months and a week anyway.

And you will know MY JACKET IS GOLD when I lay my vengeance upon thee.

They already have Exum who could be their future PG otherwise they have the rest of their positions covers, actually they might have to move Favors if Lyles is the real deal:

Gobert
Favors/Lyle
Hayward
Hood/Burks
Hill/Exum

They could consolidate to move up though that wouldn't save them much money. Moving them for future picks seems more likely. Not a bad idea, this is just an OK draft to me.

Trading Teague for a future pick wouldn't seem to be something that would make him more likely to re-sign IMO. Or maybe they didn't get along.

I'm also not a big believer in the German Rondo either.

Teague for the #12 is a great deal for them but unless they think that they have a line on someone else, I don't know why dealing for future picks would entice Al to stay.

They have his Bird Rights. They were already 40 million under the cap. If anything, this is more about trying to re-sign Bazemore than offering Horford his money.

They weren't going to be a contender with Millsap as their best player so they are only going to spend enough to remain a pretender which meant shipping out Teague & overpaying Horford.

Schroder is good enough to keep the train humming & Bazemore is as good as gone after they drafted Prince/Bembry.

Could bounce up to being a 50 win team (a defensive stopper in the backcourt would help) but still just an also ran to Cleveland.
