"Leicester City are 2015/16 Premier League Champions"
Unbelievable. 5000/1 odds hit. For comparison, there wasn't a single team in Division 1 football or basketball this past year that got bellow 2000/1 odds to win a title.
Their starting lineup cost a total of $30MM in transfer fees. There are 37 individual players in the Premier League alone whose transfer fees were more expensive than that total. In 2009, when, by comparison, Sergio Aguero was in his penultimate year at Atletico Madrid prior to a $52MM move to Manchester City, Leicester's leading scorer, Jamie Vardy, was playing semi-pro, nonleague football at Stocksbridge Steels, working a manufacturing job on the side and playing games wearing a police monitoring device because of a fight he had gotten in.

Tottenham completely fell apart yesterday. Granted, they were still holding on by a thread, but to have a two goal lead in a game that you had to win and end up being goaded into a tie through dirty play (I think the Spurs got 9 yellows) is inexcusable. The game was beyond chippy, it was straight out dirty (both ways), and for Tottenham to fall into it shows they aren't ready for prime time IMO.
I'm just happy that Leicester doesn't win the League against my Everton FC this week.
