2. Houston Hardhead French African HeadCharge (LABeat, 4, 37-18, 290.8) - In this post, I will give LABeat props...watch.

3. Bangkok DraftStretchers (Shawn, 2, 37-18, 286.8) - Scummy McScummerson doesn't deserve to win...and he won't...again.

4. Stanley Van Jeremys (Boogs, 3, 35-20, 284.8) - Now suddenly has some stiff comp for the Nigrum Conference crown.

5. STL Smash (Dstl, 5, 31-24, 279.3) - Good first season by most metrics but let's see if he'll be a playoff wiz or coast like he's done most of the year.

6. Duval County Chronicles of Redick (Longo, 6, 30-25, 276.9) - Team is suddenly (again) looking like a Nigrum favorite after the mid season slump.

7. Hollywoooooooood RINGing (Ryan, 7, 30-25, 274.5) - Champ gearing up for a title defense. And looking capable at that.

8. Springfield Tresotopes (Ern, 12, 26-29, 271.4) - Ern's team might be he hottest in the Nigrum. LOL @ a team below .500 actually winning this thing (that is if he doesn't win his last 3).

9. Isla de Coney Chicos Malos Seis (Cenario, 9, 25-30, 274.3) - Everyone put up career numbers on C's team the last 5. On no planet should a team put up 334 FPPG and go 2-3 over that span (unless playing ChiESL in a 5 gamer hahahaha). Only consolation I could find for C is ranking him one slot higher than Theo. Looking increasingly bleak for C's playoff hopes.

10. Point Breeze Daps n Hugs (Theo, 8, 26-29, 276.6) - Theo's team has answered the challenge of Cenario's push and is poised to be one of the more dangerous teams to deal with in round 1. LABeat is gonna have his hands full.

11. Restown SmerF City SlamZ (Smerf, 11, 24-31, 261.7) - Not the worst rookie season of all time and gets a chance to see if he can work some playoff magic (doubtful though).

12. Philadelphia Old Man Ballers (JerseyT, 10, 26-29, 259.9) - Pretty much punted on the season and is a lame duck playoff squad. And I don't blame him given what his team has endured.

13. Ybor City Zolas (Magilla, 14, 22-33, 258.6) - Will make the playoffs. Season is pretty much a success there.

14. Greenfield Township Catalytic Converters (Ceej, 13, 20-35, 261.5) - Thanks for being you Ceej!

15. The Richmond Tranquil Suburban Lifestyles (Shells, 15, 20-35, 246.4) - Thanks for the SOS (saving our season)! Though DVS DID follow up a day later and we might have still been good to go with a small delay. lol

16. San Diego Sugar Cookies (RBO, 16, 11-44, 235.9) - Needed a few more Kentucky players to have had a better year than he had. Maybe next year he can try to get Brow, Boogie, KAT and Rondo.

Setup - Given that there are 3 games left in the season (1st round line up locks start today so make sure you have your stuff right if you don't have a bye) it's pretty easy to figure who's in and out. Barring a few unlikely losses, Cenario likely isn't catching Theo and Shelly (L5) isn't catching Magilla (LOL). Seeding is semi-locked as well unless TJT's team finds a way to out perform Ern's over the last 3 (highly unlikely). So with that, I took the most likely Cenario's (ha! my boy made the playoffs in some way after all) and then ran them through the playoff comparer (http://basketball.sports.ws/league/playoff_compare.x?league=160362) and here's what it spit out...and yes, our playoffs are best of 5 but the predictor only does best of 7:

The only thing that kept me from taking a sub 1.2 guard back for PG was his GF eligibility. I was wasting minutes all year and needed that flexibility.

Unless I make the conference finals, this is a very disappointing season. I had great draft position, but couldn't make the most of it. Any other year this woulda been a great one but since it's the title defense I'm just bummed.

That said - if Payton decides to go nuts, I'd be happy.

even with him predicted at 65 points and Markieff putting up 1.1 you still just need Thompson and Zeller to not net negative points.

if zeller and thompson give you 20 points (predicted to give you 50), i'd need Rondo to have a 90 point game and/or Markieff to ball out like he does about 1 in every 7 or 8 games. I doubt it.
