So, Brett Farve is a mortal lock, right? One would think T.O. would be as well, but there's a lot of 60+ year old white men who might keep him from being first ballot for one reason or another. I'm personally gonna be super pissed if Big O doesn't make it this year...especially if Faneca does and he doesn't. Nothing at ALL against Faneca, but I don't want to live in a world where Orlando Pace is not a hall of famer. I have a feeling Kurt might miss out again. That annoys me, but I think he'll be in eventually, if not this year. That Harvin Marrison dude...no comment. I don't feel like Terrel Davis or Edgerrin will make it this time around.

>And T.O. will get in eventually. Tim waited. Cris waited. >Marvin waited. Andre waited. And T.O. ain't better than them. >So it's okay. WHY do ANY of these guys have to wait? They were all at or near the top of ALL WR categories at the time they retired. They shouldn't have to wait for shit.
Like the late Ken Stabler had to wait (and eventually pass away) before he got in. How come Favre doesn't have to wait? Should Peyton Manning wait? Shit makes no sense...if you got the stats and the eye test proved that you BALLED in your career, vote them the fuck in.
Just irritates me when cats are qualified to be a part of something special and they have to get shit put on old because of some arbitrary dumb shit.
Abdul Jabbar, Muggsy Malone you I don't know what that means but you know what I meant when I told you (c) Sean Price

it ain't just about T.O. (although, I'm a self-proclaimed T.O. stan), it's the arbitrary nature of this shit. It's so fucking dumb. Like you said, why didn't Brett have to wait? He didn't have to wait because anyone with sense knows he was a HOF player. This whole shit with dudes not being a HOF year one, but by year 3 or 4, they are...is damn near making me stop giving a fuck. On what planet is Orlando Pace not a HOF...instantly? If the motherfucker has HOF numbers...put his ass in as soon as he's eligible. And don't even get me started on the fucking baseball HOF...shit is EVEN dumber.

15. "I love Stabler...but honestly his stats warranted a long wait..." In response to Reply # 9
and he's honestly questionable as a hall of famer....look at his stats..
over an 8 year period from 74 thru 81... he only threw more TDs than INTs 3 times.... There are some QBs not in the hall of fame who didn't have anywhere close to that many years of more Ints than TDs..
he was great..he won a super bowl...was really cultural leader of one of the NFL's most widely known brands...
but he waited to get in the hall of fame for good reason...it's sad he's not here to give what would have been an awesome acceptance speech....

Harrison should've been in, first ballot. The media doesn't like him either because he didn't "play the game" with them. And yeah, TO should be going in first ballot too.
This "wait your turn" stuff is dumb, the best players should go in first.
13. "If Cris Carter had to wait....to hell with TO as a first ballot..." In response to Reply # 0
I'm sorry.. I would have lost it..
no I'm not a TO fan..but I do believe he is a hall of fame player..
but if other guys had to wait...TO has to fukkin wait...if Cris had to wait..to me TO should have to wait at least 5 years.... I know he won't..probably will be in by the 3rd time..
but Marvin Harrison's stats speak for themselves...
and I believe all the people he shot were post retirement...lolol..
this is about football..and TO was a problem in NFL locker rooms with his teammates... I'm sorry..that counts..
he was a great player though..and his numbers are hall worthy...

"Marvin Harrison was the best receiver I played against, especially being a young player and just learning the game at this level.
He was already at a high level, and the job was made even more difficult because it seemed like every time we played the Colts it was in Indianapolis, where they played on turf -- that old AstroTurf. I hated playing on that. The Colts were fast on it, and Marvin had everything: He was bigger than you would think from watching him on film, and he was fast and quick and ran great routes.
I never was one of those guys who was going to lose sleep thinking about a matchup, but I did understand that it was going to be one of those days when I was playing him. Really, he was the only guy that I thought of like that."
25. "I still remember when he undressed (Champ) Bailey" In response to Reply # 23
in Indy on a corner-post route. There was all that talk of of Champ being the best corner in the league and then you see Peyton throw to a wide open Marvin in the end-zone....then they show the overhead replay and you see Marvin sell the post, Champ biting, and then comes the subsequent cut...shit was beautiful, I remember it so vividly.

24. "Why wasn't TO selected over No. 88 of the Colts?" In response to Reply # 0
It can't be off the field issues because......... *EDIT* and we haven't forgotten Favre gunslinging cock pics into triple coverage getting intercepted by Jen Sterger.
TO has 29 more touchdowns and 1,354 more receiving yards than No. 88 but old men are hating on his greatness.
Predict and dictate No. 88 from Indy's speech below.
