I did enjoy seeing one of the Sixers players blocking one of Kobe's shots in the fourth quarter though. Superb timing on the player's part. Being that it's the Sixers, I have no recollection of who blocked the shot. I'm certain it wasn't Nerlins Noel because I would have remembered the ugly flat top.

Kobe drove left baseline, Okafor rotated over, Kobe got him in the air with an up and under, and was going up for the easy layup when Grant came in from behind to block the shot. Great recognition and effort as he was at the ft line when Okafor bit on the pump fake.

I think he got another block later on in the game as well. I don't think it was on Kobe, but I could be wrong. I remember it being deeper in the paint, almost right under the basket.

Actually my dude out in Philly caught up with Kobe before after/the game (in addition to be a journo of sorts, he grew up with Kobe's sister). Said Kobe was thrilled to be in Philly and stayed for a long time after the game (which is unusual for a road game), plus rocked his Eagles shirt.
Any which way, it's nice to finally get a W and send Kobe out on the right note in Philly. If we could get a serviceable point guard, we'd more of these kind of games (read: against other really bad teams).

But it was a bit weird to see them jack up three's late in the fourth quarter. Why not use Jahlil in the paint more at that point? Perhaps the Kobester influenced the Sixers as well. Hard to believe he jacked up 15 three's on his own with his shot legs. That's somewhat impressive on a physical level, but ultimately just horrible basketball in multiple aspects.
