UM-UCONN: the best matchup of this first round. MICH took a lickin from an older and more cohesive Xavier team but there are so many good pieces that that "click" is a matter of when, not if.

Teams with a strong low post scorer or that hit the offensive glass hard will take advantage on the other end, but we don't have that shotblocker in the middle of the zone anyway this year.

No one fk'n with that frontline (cept KY) The backcourt is still the issue, but I really think we can sneak in and win the B1G.
sadly, We will be a nice upset win for someone in the round of 32 though - tournament all about guards.

Terps still trying to find a groove. Struggling against zones and the perimeter defense needs work. No clue about Rhode Island. We've struggled against Rider so I don't know what to expect. Maybe we get rolling tonight.

That was the key- Ollie knew that he can't survive on a Shabazz/Kemba type system, and none of these guys have that mentality anyway...so he's really promoted team ball and its paying off. Hamilton is clearly the most talented of the bunch, but Purvis can slash and shoot, and Gibbs is a great shooter as well...they are playing well off of each other.

But he's active on the glass. Coleman is looking better the last 2 games, if he can give them a solid 20 minutes per game with a few hoops and 6-8 boards, they can be dangerous.
