Derek Carr have it all... Pre-snap reads, snap decisions, pocket awareness, cannon arm, makes every throw in the book with laser accuracy, excellent touch and deep ball, can run when he needs to and he's tough as nails. Post up here when you're ready to admit it. I knew this would be a breakout year going from basically no weapons to having Amari AND Crab... Lil Carr is must-see TV every week for a star on the rise. He needs to do better against top defenses (Chiefs game wasn't great), but doing this to any NFL defense is damned impressive. Especially when you're playing behind the sticks all game -- 200 yards in penalties or whatever it was. BALLER

I know Carr would have finished with like 450 yards to 500, but that would have been one of the GOAT throws to finish a game. They need to let the reins loose a bit earlier or find a way to get Derek up to speed earlier cause he goes to another level down the stretch.

It seems like he is really good at taking advantage of loose coverage/prevent coverage. A lot of his 20+ yard passes start as 7 yarders, perfectly placed for YAC. And with guys like Amari and Crab, if they can turn upfield for even one step, they are getting at least another 10 yards.
