It really is a damn shame that there's no remedy at this point.
Two months ago it sounded like they were fortunate to catch it when they did and now he's gone. Just staggering to think about. Such a giant in the Minnesota basketball scene.

I never know what to think in that situation, I mean on one hand it's horrible that the person died but on the other it's probably better that there was not a period of long, drawn-out suffering that prefaced the inevitable. Sixty is young, man, especially for a guy that obviously stayed in great shape and had the resources to stay healthy.

I know KG and even Wittman gotta be taking the news pretty hard. This sucks man. I hate hearing folks dying of cancer. I really was hoping he would pull through this even if he didn't coach again.

Just looking at some of the ones linked up in r/NBA that were put up by some of his former players, really shows how much he touched all the people he came in contact with. Rest in peace, the world lost a good man today.
