"Poll question: LeBron needs more help © SAS"

"He's gonna leave if he doesn't get more help" © SAS

I cannot believe believe this narrative continues year in and year out with a guy that more or less is the fucking GM. We're going on like 5 years with the same fucking plea. Meanwhile, dude has been presented with the extremely rare opportunity to carefully dictate his future while playing fantasy GM in the process. It's disgusting.

Does LeBron need more help?

(p.s. - you're a tool if you vote yes)

Poll result (9 votes)
yes (3 votes)Vote
no (6 votes)Vote

and they deal with said injuries without complaining.

>people needing to stay healthy don't mean "more help"

SAS didn't differentiate between the "help" and the "hurt." He was focused solely on the help. He's a mouthpiece that is enabling Bron to slunk out © Larry David if this season doesn't result in a championship. He put an emphasis on the fact that LeBron is tired of carrying a team.

LeBron, as player/GM, should've known that both Love and Kyrie were injury prone before he went back to Cleveland. I knew this from my couch. I don't want to hear ANY shit about him crying for help. He put himself in this situation and the media (it'll be more that just SAS) is showering him with sympathy. This dude gonna eat it up all the way to Fagency next summer. And good for him. He should. But fuck the lame ass media for enabling such a narrative to continue.

what locations did the ever cerebral Stephen A. lay out as possible destinations for LeBron?

Did he go into histrionics on camera similar to how he did with the B.S. Durant/Lakers rumor he started about a week or so ago?

happens every year.

Problem is, they'll conveniently omit the fact that dude is forging his own path and controlling his destiny in an unprecedented way (and good for him, he earned the right). They'll blame the owner (as SAS did today with the Tristan situation), the bench, the coach, the players. Meanwhile, the guy who strategically put himself in this situation gets to eat up the sympathy and seamlessly bounce to another city while failing to accomplish his main objective. *That's* what angers me. The media stays enabling this. SAS won't be the only one either.

doesn't take away from the fact that lebron being coddled by prominent talking heads is a bad thing.

this is not an indictment on kyrie. i'm pro-kyrie. your boy will be the one (along with a few others) that will be thrown under the bus at the end of the season if a championship isn't won. that'll be unfair and feelings will be hurt on here when no one talks about it.

Bron dealing with back problems. Kyrie always seems to miss significant chunks of the season. Shumpert is out now. Tristan ain't signed.

Meanwhile Bron ain't getting younger. Splash brothers got a chance to repeat. Old ass SAS can still be a problem.

Iono... that window is not open ended & it can close in a hurry.

Amare was an mvp candidate when melo got there and then missed playoff games with a bad back

The next year he missed games bc he punched a fire extinguisher casing.

But melo shoulda known those injuries were coming.

You sound real stupid.

-The Knicks’ coaching search still includes a lone frontrunner, Kurt Rambis, whose qualifications for the position include a strong relationship with Jackson and a willingness to take the job.

That's what I meant.

Amare missed playoff games the first 2 seasons bc of his back and hand. Them other injuries came after year 2 with the knicks. Just like kyrie injuries with bron are new (i'm assuming)

Why are you talking about what dolan should have known in reference to melo? You think dolan told melo about amare medical records before trading and signing melo?? Dumb

granted, neither Melo nor LeBron KNEW.
they saw talent.

and people frying Melo for Fire Extinguisher #### not panning out can eat da poo poo. at the time, it appeared to be a haul. enough to stop the Death Star? probably not, but it represented a proper move forward.

I'm confident that LeBron will cash in on his "help".

But if people want to hold melo to that standard the same has to hold for bron. As far as the knicks decision to sign amare, in hindsight it was a terrible deal. At the time, it wasn't ideal but it was understandable based on the fact that cleared the cap room but struck out on all the big time free agents.

That being said, no one can act surprised that amare broke down when a and how we did the last 3seasons.

Game tied 75 all with 9 minutes to go young spice turned into the best player on the planet.. but of course that doesn't fly with the narrative.

Bottom line is no one was saying the Cavs didn't have enough when they went up 2-1 and with the series tied 2-2 the winner of game #5 was likely going to win it all.

These narratives aren't allowing Curry to get the shine he deserves for one of the greatest playoff performances we ever seen which decided the outcome of that series.

Besides, what makes you so sure that the L column won't grow instead of the W column? - lol. There's a lot of young players coming & Bron can't hold them off forever man.. In fact, he couldn't hold them off last year.

Again his back is concerning to me especially for a guy of his size and athleticism. We'll see what happens but in spite of that nothing changes the fact that Kobe got 5. Not even sure why you need to bring him up. Jordan is retired. He still got 6 so I don't really get it - lol

Either way be easy man.. Not gonna fight with you about it all night..

like, i'm supposed to care about 2-4. he got two titles. he 30. um, he's doing okay. now, 5 years from now, if he ain't got a couple more, THEN you might be on to something.

the nigga could end 5-10 or 6-12 for all i fucking care. what difference will it make? titles are titles.

we've entered a real stupid ass phase of fandom when niggas tryna penalize CHAMPIONS for the number of second place finishes they got. jack nicklaus MUST BE trash, by your logic.

i'm SORRY bron is good enough to actually carry shitty and injured teams teams to the finals while kobe could only pad his stats and either not make the playoffs AT ALL or get his ass booted early.

now THAT is a narrative that people should retire.

he's signing 1 yr opt-outs in order to maximize his earnings.
that's it. the chances that he strands cleveland and takes that
image hit a second time are as close to zero as it gets.

he'll retire as a cav.

>he's signing 1 yr opt-outs in order to maximize his earnings.

He's making back all the money he "walked away from" when he signed with the Heat. He knows damn well that the cap is going to keep increasing.

The '16-'17 is the last season of the current CBA, right? And next off-season the cap gets increased over more, right? LeBron will opt out his contract one last time in summer of '16, and sign his last huge contract after that. Like, for the most years and most money possible.

and puts himself thru that whole image repair process again. no one can convince me otherwise.

for what? he and his family love NE OH, and there's not a better basketball situation out there for him. that team's stacked and the owner's spending like crazy.

he'll spend the rest of his career with cleveland, i'd bet anything on it.

He went to Miami because it was, at the time, a once in a lifetime scenario. Now, with the NBA basically changing the CBA to decrease the chances happen again, and the cap rising so much that hypothetically any team can afford to sign two or more max players if they line things up correctly, he staying in Cleveland until the end.

Two all-stars isn't enough to win a title so give him three. Convince FEEL to wreck NY some more and trade for TT or convince another team to trade for TT.

Bron needs more help point blank. MORE HELP FOR BRON is what the Cavs need to do. I'm sick and tired of the Cavs not getting Bron help. No one wants to play in Cleveland like Kevin Love and JR Smith and Kyrie Irving and Timothy Mozgov so we need to get our guy more help to offset the lost performance.

The fuck is griff doing? BRON NEEDS MORE HELP so please get him more help.

*EDIT*

Whatever we do, please keep Bron away from GMing the team. Lebron the GM is the worst GM in league history. Larry Hughes is his fault. Donyell Marshall is his fault. Every bad free agent decision during his first run is his fault.

*EDIT*

We over the cap anyway so BRON NEEDS MOAR HELP anyway. Get him another all-star to go along with Ky and KLove. TT for another mid tier all-star or Melo if TT gets a max deal.

We all care about what Lebron does.

Why?

Because he's a GOAT on a historic run, compiling up unprecedented evidentiary data to authenticate his rightful place on Mt. Rushmore.

We like to throw the ECF streak out there to stunt, but the 5 straight Final Appearances?

H I S T O R I C & U N P R E C E D E N T E D:

"LeBron is the first player to make five straight Finals since the 1960's Celtics legends: The Boston Celtics ruled the NBA in the 1960s thanks to Bill Russell, Satch Sanders, KC Jones and Sam Jones. All four of those players went to the NBA Finals five straight times and now James joins their elite company.

Take a minute to absorb that information. NBA legends like Michael Jordan and Larry Bird have never accomplished what LeBron is doing by going to the NBA Finals five years in a row."

You can count the era when the NBA was segregated and devoid of wholly developed talent - have fun w/ that.
