he took a while to get going and then he hit the oft-injured stage of his career earlier than most. if he played at or near his best for longer, he'd have been a very good investment as a low lotto guy. as it was he still a steal at 25th or whatever he went.

Whether that is a term of endearment or an insult seems to depend on where the goalposts are currently placed in a given agenda.
For the record, I like both guys but haven't seen Johnson enough to have a strong opinion on who is and will be better.
