This dude fell off to a degree that it's been used to bolster the drug claims (ie the fall off is him quitting drugs). He lost the biggest fight of his career in spectacular and humiliating fashion and followed it with injury excuses. Remember when he was the good guy favorite and Floyd was the one just talking?
Does anyone still support him? Shawn at least?
I just wanna get some people on record before this bullshit rematch talk starts and dudes start deflecting like NAH LET'S SEE WHAT HAPPENS NOW.

but I'm not exactly the loudest guy on here about Manny either.
Losing hurt, but it wasn't exactly a surprise to me. And Manny's provincial as fuck, but I think people (on both sides of the aisle) like to misinterpret the whole Manny's juicing/not juicing, KO power/no KO power saga. In a nutshell, I don't think he was juicing, but he also never initially exhibited the KO power that people thought he did.

i don't think he represented us well with his excuse-making and ensuing social media jokes on Floyd. i was a big fan of how gracious he was to his opponents before and after the fight, which is easier to do when winning, so he kinda lost me lately.

I don't recall him saying that he thought he won THAT fight, yet on a bigger stage he pulls all of this. I didn't mind the social media so much (pre-fight), but all I've heard from him since the end of round 12 is excuses.

i said it years ago: people don't respect floyd's greatness in terms of GOAT candidacy, so everyone from his era must suffer.
canelo's gonna have an historic career, but he got bageled by floyd. and rather than give floyd credit, people gon subtract that from canelo. not fair.
Needs a lot of work...Move your gawtdamn head! Laughable at him saying he didn't want his dad to be there because he "wants to be his own man" then rocks a "LEGACY CONTINUES" zip up vest to the ring.

But I agreed with Bradley the whole time that the fight was really close. Teddy and that crew were trash though. Horn was landing hella right hands that they didn't call. I felt the rounds in this fight were closer than the rounds in the Bradley fight

He has nothing left to prove. Rematch him for what? He's at a point where he will either face guys like this (and risk the robbery cause he's not sleeping anyone anymore) or he will fight a young hungry lion (a la Crawford) and get slept himself.

i just finished watching the fight again. i can see a judge scoring it for horn, or a draw. rounds 2-8 could have gone to either fighter. that said, i think manny won the fight by 2 or 3 rounds. this decision shouldn't cause any outrage, manny isn't manny anymore. manny let a less talented fighter work his way to a decision.

opponents home turf bigger stronger fighter was the agressor for the entire fight (except round 9) and was more active (threw more punches) = W
FTR, I don't agree with the decision, but to call this a robbery is a stretch
it was closer than the scorecards IMO, but Manny let that happen
he was not impressive vs a tomato can that was suppose to set him up for a PBF rematch, possibly
yes, Manny landed the higher percentage of punches and total punches
however
those were mostly in countering Horn
Horn never stopped stalking Manny around the ring
while Manny continued to back peddle
get hit with clean shots from Horn
and when he did he covered up
when Horn came inside it was holding and clenching, partly because Horn allowed himself to be held being that he's not skilled enough to execute an in-fighting gameplan...but I digress
when you consider these facts

That is just impossible. So that ends up making the decision look fake. IF all 3 cards were 115-113 I bet a lot of the robbery talk would be non existent.

I don't even do the Floyd fan/Manny fan thing that was going on in the post. I just watched the fight as a regular guy who saw a free fight on. It turned out to be really good. I was actually going to make a post asking if anyone was going to watch. When I saw this one upped, I just rocked with it. That said...it's exactly like you stated. I watched every second of this fight and how any human could see it 117-111 for Horn is mind-boggling. It was obvious from the start that Horn was bigger and stronger. How many fights did Manny have where he was the bigger man, anyway? Horn bullied the shit out of Manny, head butted him, clenched every time they got close, hit him with rabbit punches, stole on him a couple times while clinched. Like Teddy said though...Manny landed MORE CLEAN PUNCHES. He damn near tore dude's face off in the 9th and had his corner begging the ref not to stop it. But somehow, someone watched all that and saw it 117-111? FOH.

it would still look fixed. manny clearly outclassed the bigger stronger fighter. didn't look impressive doing it but looked far better than Horn although he did get bullied for much of the fight.
just disappointing to me. hate to do the stephen A on this but it's rare you see such unexpected decisions in the UFC
