- 259 yards allowed per game (1st)
- 176 passing yards allowed per game (1st)
- 58.0 opposing passer rating (1st)
- 4.2 yards allowed per play (1st)
- 19 percent third down conversion rate allowed (1st)

they're tied for third in sacks (11) but their pass rush is ridiculous. as long as their linebackers come to play, they're going to carry Peyton to at least one playoff win by themselves.

Imagine if that offense actually picks up some steam and the defense is able to play to its greatest strengths (the pass rush in particular, as you mentioned)

They have played some of the weaker offensive teams so far

Seattle played @ Green Bay, so there's that. but they also gave up 31 points to Foles and Co.

Carolina has had to face: Blake Bortles, Ryan Mallett, Luke McCown.

the Jets shut down the Colts and Arizona did the same against New Orleans, but both those offenses look a lot worse than last year. in between those games they've played some bad quarterbacks and bad teams.

game-winning fumble return for a touchdown last week,

& a clutch acrobatic interception vs the Lions to help ice the game.

opponents first downs: Denver-53 Arizona-46
opponent touchdowns: Denver-6 Arizona-4

AZ defense is on the field longer by about two minutes per game so Denver has the slightly better yardage stats

Denver has a +6 turnover ratio to Arizona +3. AZ D has 3 TDs and Denver D has 2.

its probably Denver but the argument is there for the Cardinals.

I know that it won't be Arizona at the end of the year.

They were getting rolled up on by an awful Bears team before Jimmy Clausen took over and lack top end edge rushers.

Denver seems a little more imposing but I wouldn't say the Cardinals are not built to last.

literally, the worst performance he's ever had as a starter (minus two games he left early with injuries).

although we all know the real answer is Denver. good gracious Cam would be unstoppable with the Broncos' pass rush and corners.

where are these guys all-time? relentless pass rush and three corners who can play man-free against any offense in the league. plus they had the best run defense in the league.

Denver held Pittsburgh, New England and Carolina to a 17 percent (7/42) conversion rate on third downs this postseason. that is unfathomable.
