- 259 yards allowed per game (1st) - 176 passing yards allowed per game (1st) - 58.0 opposing passer rating (1st) - 4.2 yards allowed per play (1st) - 19 percent third down conversion rate allowed (1st)
they're tied for third in sacks (11) but their pass rush is ridiculous. as long as their linebackers come to play, they're going to carry Peyton to at least one playoff win by themselves.

Imagine if that offense actually picks up some steam and the defense is able to play to its greatest strengths (the pass rush in particular, as you mentioned)

Seattle played @ Green Bay, so there's that. but they also gave up 31 points to Foles and Co.
Carolina has had to face: Blake Bortles, Ryan Mallett, Luke McCown.
the Jets shut down the Colts and Arizona did the same against New Orleans, but both those offenses look a lot worse than last year. in between those games they've played some bad quarterbacks and bad teams.
where are these guys all-time? relentless pass rush and three corners who can play man-free against any offense in the league. plus they had the best run defense in the league.
