they need to be a playoff team next season

-The Knicks’ coaching search still includes a lone frontrunner, Kurt Rambis, whose qualifications for the position include a strong relationship with Jackson and a willingness to take the job.

He talked about how the allegiance between black athletes
and drug dealers is more complicated than people think,
because he was brutalized by police officers, and drug
dealers are the ones who protected him from crime, kept the
basketball hoops in his neighborhood so that he could practice,
etc

And he was 18 years old.

So before anything, look at how petty and hoe-like you're
being, talking about things from 12 years ago

a little context as to what happened is necessary, but the knicks need to be a playoff team next season and everything goes back to phil

just saw the porzingis option. Frying him for next season would be totally unfair.

In response to Reply # 0

that's the expectation.

It's gonna suck cuz they don't have 1st round pick.

Frying Phil will depend on the moves he makes. Right now he seems like going all rebuild except the Melo signing.

Frying Melo would depend on how he plays and how he acts as a leader.

Frying Fish will depend on he coaches. If he looks lost, we can fry him and Phil for picking him.

I'd fry Donnie cuz he's the one that made moves that lost those picks. That's perfectly reasonable.

What you are blaming donnie for(which we all know was dolan) was for giving denver the option to swap 1sts this coming season. I will allow that Donnie would have been likely to allow that part of the trade anyway though.

>I'd fry Donnie cuz he's the one that made moves that lost those picks. That's perfectly reasonable.

-The Knicks’ coaching search still includes a lone frontrunner, Kurt Rambis, whose qualifications for the position include a strong relationship with Jackson and a willingness to take the job.

In response to Reply # 13

I assumed it was Donnie.

All I did was a few weeks ago, look to see what picks they had.

Adam Sandler could've walked into the front office and okayed the trade as a part of a Mr. Deeds promo tour.

That shit could be for a Chris Childs signing. I don't know.

Whoever made that trade that resulted in them not having a pick, fry them.

#2 what if denver don't make the playoffs? Then that would still be a lottery pick

#3 you said he traded away the knicks 1st rounder. I said he didn't. Whether the pick the knicks kept in that trade winds up being lottery or not, it still would have been a 1st rounder.

True....What the Knicks should hope is BOTH Denver and Toronto suck....If all three teams find themselves with high draft picks then the Knicks will still get a good draft pick....The wild card is Toronto....With Lou Williams all but gone it will be interesting to see how all this shakes out...

GOAT of his era......long live Prince.....God is alive....

Denver has the option to switch..which means the knicks still had a 1st rounder. Then, that 1st rounder got traded to Toronto. Now the knicks don't have any. Why don't you understand that lol

You mean when he was trading unprotected 1st rounders that turned into the #2 pick?

Blame Feel implementing the triangle in the first place.

Blame Feel for hiring a first year coach and forcing the triangle on the team.

Blame Feel for tanking.

Blame Feel for not hiring Thibs in some capacity.

Stephen A came out and said that the prevailing theory in Melo's camp was take the money now and figure out a trade later. Melo wanted money over everything so he lives with the results. Look $100+ million is a great bed to sleep in to hide the fact that he's not winning a chip next year.

-The Knicks’ coaching search still includes a lone frontrunner, Kurt Rambis, whose qualifications for the position include a strong relationship with Jackson and a willingness to take the job.

We all know this shit ain't gonna work out. Feel ready to rebuild and Melo looking out the front door even if he publicly says otherwise (we all know his Instagram session was on some bullshit....lol)

So one of u fuckers with a TRADE MACHINE on deck, would a deal like this work?

Knicks deal with the Pels: Asik and Tyreke for Melo....Maybe u find a 3rd team to swoop in if the numbers don't work out...

But I think Melo would be dangerous on a team like the Pelicans. They need a gunner to lift some of that weight off of AD....

GOAT of his era......long live Prince.....God is alive....

Phil either doesn't know what he's doing and he's making decisions that are inconsistent with each other OR he's passively pushing Melo out.

I've said since day one that the Triangle and Melo can't coexist. Trying to build a team around these 2 variables is just asking for too much. You'll always find a player that can play in the Triangle but can't play with Melo and vice versa.

Calderon is terrible, Afflalo is a name people know, but he's a below average starting SG, Porzingis is a good rookie with potential but average at best as a starting PF and might be hitting that rookie wall, Lopez is average, bench is mostly trash. That's not a good basketball team.

But I voted Phil, cause that team is not built to make the playoffs, even in the east. And that's what he's there for, so he's not doing his job.

And Noah's body literally fell apart.

Melo already went through that with Amare and Chandler.

If Melo left, there would be the "he forced his way to NY and then bounced" narrative.
