Knew the Cavs could do it. This Lebron guy is a really excellent player. Once upon a time I forgot how great he was but he donned a Cavs uniform and all of a sudden my amnesia cleared. Respect to the OG, greatest player of his era.

but truth is I've been a huge basketball fan since I was a kid, played through college, and followed the NBA intensely since I was a kid.
I just never posted in OKS about it because I didn't find it to be fun or entertaining. Boxing is obviously my favorite sport, and the level of boxing discourse in OKS has been phenomenal and a ton of fun.
Re: Bron - I was a huge fan from the jump when he was drafted, and became an even bigger fan when he decided to go to Miami because I thought it was the right decision at the time (which was proven to be true later) - and thought the hate he received was the most absurd, unwarranted hate I'd ever seen a superstar athlete endure, ever. The OKS hate for Bron was extra-special sauce, and cats were so reckless w/ their disdain that I can re-up old posts from virtually all of you doubting whether he would ever win a title, saying he was scared of the big moment, would never be a clutch player, would never go to back to Cleveland etc....
All of that proved to be utter non-sense and sophomoric #HurtLocker analysis, and i've been thoroughly entertained through it all.
In other words, fuck your couch. We Kang'ing out here.

It drives the haters insane, but the objective truth is that the Warriors would deserve to be favored even if the cavs had their second and third best player. That Bron got these guys to an NBA finals make it one of his most impressive playoffs ever.
