You know the opposition is going to press, especially in a knock-out tournament, and yet you give Di Maria acres of space and then Mertesacker can see his defensive line, sees Kosc moving to the near post, Bellerin is marking Fellaini, and yet Per makes no move towards Rooney.
That 10 minutes after a goal can allow you to really settle the game and start dictating terms...instead it's back to level.
