I've been so focused on trying to keep my team afloat....can't say I'm too mad at being at .500 at this point.... can't say I've had to work the waiver wire like this to put a squad together behind injuries...but we're getting there..

and it seems like every big time rookie is already there on waivers before they get called up...but in our league for some reason they aren't all there until they actually get called up..
you would think it's standard across the board....

that haven't been available in our league, but in the other league they were on waivers.... pitchers mostly... Like I see he's a probably pitcher in a few days...go search for him in our league..not there.... got to the other league and pick him up... maybe the day the guy starts he's available in our league...
I meant to email them about it but I didn't trip on it too much..had no idea about this other guy that wasn't available anywhere...
4th place isn't 4th place, when playoffs are determined by divisions set in a first come first serve basis.
imho.
that ain't right.
what makes it worse is that i don't believe folks even know. the standings on our front page reflect only W-L-T numbers. it's not until you examine deeper standings, or look at the projected playoff seedings, that you realize the 4th best record essentially could mean nothing.

there is some method to the madness with the divisions though....
what I would do would do is take the top 2 teams from the previous season and put then in separate divisions...then stagger the rest... so one division would be last years 1,3,5,7,9,11 and the other 2,4,6,8,10,12....
with whomever was new coming in being at the bottom like 11th or 12th place..
this year threw it off a bit because we had so many new members..
but yeah..we'll put it up for a vote for next year....

it's crazy to look at the waiver wire and see so many guys with a high owned percentage sitting there because they've had terrible seasons, and a lot of them were guys that I drafted.... lol..
just crazy...guess that makes up for last year where every guy I picked up ended up blowing up....
but we have a solid group of owners now that I'm sure we can keep this going for a while..
