It's a cup frenzy this weekend as the FA Cup 4th round takes over your usual League programming. Several matches offer regional angles which should keep things interesting (Liverpool-Bolton, Birmingham-W Brom), but no matchups can be really considered must-see TV. Not a lot of respite from the other leagues either, with a clear lack of marquee games across the Continent. But there's still plenty for sensible soccer fans to sink their teeth into, with multiple opportunities to explore the wide world of futbol. You have Ghana-Algeria today in the ACoN group of death. Cote d'Ivoire-Mali on Saturday should be a doozy, as both teams will want to take a decisive step toward the knock-out stage. And if that still doesn't do it for you, you can catch up on the last two Asian Cup quarter finals, with eternal foes Iraq and Iran headed to a dramatic finish, and Japan taking on UAE.
Or, you know, you could watch ESPN's coverage of #deflategate all weekend.

Nice little combo with Villareal....very happy with both moves. W e finally get a true CB to go provide cover for and challenge Per and Laurent, and Joel will get some playing time.
Good work Arsene.

the narrative on him has been that he's unreliable (which, duh, he's still a kid), but now he's pulling this stuff consistently, and often in a decisive fashion. He's far from the only reason Juve are up in first, but he's a very big one

also don't like the loss of sakho and introduction of johnson. henderson got away with a handball and a second yellow. seems to be swinging back in chelsea's direction. at least mignolet has been balling.

Messi started the attack, suarez with the ill long ball, neymar with the perfect finish. Loved it ----------- Y'all stupid...should've tanked for Lebron/Wiggins in 2014 -Rex LongFellow
