As far as fouls...there was a stretch in mid 2nd where OKC got some very beneficial calls....highlighted by a foul called on Barnes when KD had the ball slip out his hands and then a phantom blocking call when Russy was out of control going to the basket. Foul calls have cut both ways...

The injury has a relatively high re-fracture rate but that doesn't mean he can't play at all. After the bone is healed, you have to load it with the appropriate stresses to make it stronger (hence the minutes restrictions).

Instead of being an effective player, when he gets his minutes cut he either presses way too hard or sulks, it's obvious he cares more about his numbers than helping a team win.

I dont see him staying in OKC if they dont move him and it will be another big loss for the Thunder.
He played his ass off during the injuries and was the main reason they had any of their wins. Then the first game KD and Wessy come back, i watched him just stand around all 4th qtr while KD and Wessy played their usual Your Turn/My Turn. He didnt take 1 shot in the 4th that game, and there was way too much forced action by both KD and Wessy.
At this point I think he's realized that if Scotty isnt gonna real him in he's gotta try to force his for reasons stated above and its caused him to be more selfish and a worse player.
He's been a good soldier but now loos like he's starting to going AWOL. We'll see what happens if KDs injury is a bit longer term.

Even if he's a restricted FA, they might be better off shipping him out in return for a decent value (ala Clips/Bledsoe or Spurs/George Hill) before they lose him for nothing (ala Pacers/Lance) or even being forced to sign & trading him for unknown commodity (OKC/Harden).

You have to make them work on defense (via ball mvt & pounding Draymond/Speights inside) & take their legs out. Russy pounding the air out of the ball & jacking up shots is basically letting them conserve energy. Plus when Russy takes bad shots, it leads to open looks for their shooters.

Also, that was a beautiful last three mins of basketball there. Game flowed smoothly - not many clock stoppages or commercial breaks -- wish the last few minutes of more nba games were like that
