I can't wait.

I love how I called that Andre Williams would get his due this week. He's not looked anywhere as good as Rashad, and I hate that he had to get shine off of Rashad's injury, but he really runs kinda angry for a Boston College guy and it's nice to see.

ODB, wow. I admit I was getting a little frustrated with the hammy situation, and I was disheartened when he said he has heard an earful from fans already... glad Metlife showed him love to show they were in his corner and just eager to see him out there. Cruz, Randle, and Donnell all have the ability to contribute, good to see we have options on offense.

He was a great college back, and looked great at times in preseason. They need him to come through the next two weeks. Win these next two and they're in the NFC East driver's seat.

I was very impressed with ODB. He looks like he has special talent. Great to see those two have such a big impact yesterday.

I expect a Seattle romp, but keeping my fingers crossed nevertheless.

a major difference when mclain is out... a.foster GASHED them fools when he went out... glad you brought up the romo thing... you were on point about him sort a kinda....but not with a decent running game...he still a top QB when healthy....that running game really caters to his strengths..

Because 8 is what we do. The oline was going to be better. Linnehan is a better coordinator than what we have had, and the DEFENSE could be no worse than what we had last year. It was impossible to be worse. I expected the offense to be better. I expected to the D to be a little better, therefore I expected between 8 and 10 wins.

...be bad but far better than last year. Marinelli is a
fantastic co-ordinator and players play hard for him.

But, I was more than certain we would have one of the
top offenses in the entire league and we'd be able to
have a better season than last year based on offensive
talent and firepower alone. The team did not get worse
from last year and the proof is in the pudding.

Everyone was saying we lost our best players. Ware. What has he done the past few years. Hatcher though putting up good numbers played renegade ball for the sake of the numbers. He knew it was contract year and with all that we gave away 4 to 5 games last year. 10 was not and is not far fetched. I knew 3 games was wrong. Playing like we have the past 3 years...The offense is too good just to win 3 games.

2 interior linemen can't be an excuse for all those previous season.

Our center has a whole year of experience and is improved, Tyron Smith has matured and is even more skilled on his side than last season and Doug Free is far less bone-headed than he used to be. Romo is getting battered less and has more time to let plays actually develop. All three of our running backs, not just Demarco Murray, are finding big holes with the entire line winning more battles.

Let's also not undervalue guys like Terrence Williams, Cole Beasley and Dwayne Harris, who are coming up big whenever teams try to blanket Dez and Witten. Austin was great for stretch of years, but he really hadn't been serving our offense for the last two or three years. We did a good job replacing his production.

Let's also acknowledge that the show doesn't exclusively belong to Garrett anymore and the help he's receiving on the sideline has been huge in terms of game planning and management. We are physically and tactically a better offensive team than we've seen since 2008/2009.

the coaching calls and the two linemen are the difference. but they were all potentially there last year and shit fell apart. i'm waiting for it to fall apart again. i hope it doesn't. i know it doesn't have to.

but i have hardened my heart.

the big difference is in the d not falling apart every other drive. which hey, could happen any time.

They were good last year, don't get me wrong, but
things like coherent now. It doesn't look like a
bunch of talented people playing a pick-up game on
the beach anymore. What you said about the interior
line is accurate and has allowed a more balanced
run/pass attack (which also contributes to the more
coherent looking threat in the pass game). Everything
looks like something they have practiced and now,
finally, execute with consistency. Even screen plays
go for more than one yard some times.
