Everybody's got opinions on the way you're living but see they can't fill your shoes... Life is made of half-illusions... forty percent confusion, whatever's left I'm using... to keep myself from losing, yeah.

It was for the scuffle, but also for that post sports center interview video of Bones calling Cormier a pussy and threatening to kill him. Nike was probably itching to drop him after his DUI
a professional fighter losing a deal because he got into a fight during a promotion? wasn't like there were any serious injuries or any media outrage that nike had to save face on bernard hopkins gets into fights damn near every promotional tour

they already took any price fixing out of the line like they had early on and paying him the big bucks will force them to take it to the next level. i could see where it would cause some deliberation but honestly what lebron and even kobe generate for them is well worth what they pay them. they can do the same with durant. in a way i was disappointed though because i love what under armour is doing on the technology front right now. if they had a big name signature guy and his price tag fueling the aesthetics, it could have elevated their whole hoops line. i think those steph currys that came out last month are one of the best hoops shoes i have worn in a long time. tremendous fit, good support, consistent/long-lasting cushioning and suitable for any position.
