Now that we've covered the painfully obvious, he came into the league with hype behind him, and as far as professional football running backs go, he sucks. Or, rather, he has sucked. Who knows what the future may hold? Maybe he just needed to go to a new team. But with the exception of maybe one or two games in his entire career, he was terrible.

Mike played exceptionally well. He represented himself on the field and off. Westbrooks just did TOO many things good. They were only keeping 9. There's no way they could justify keeping Mike over Westbrooks. At the end of the day, at least at this point, Mike is a specialist. He's damn good at what he does, but they've got guys who do that. Westrbooks plays EVERYWHERE...well. No shame. I still think he'll end up on a team in games this season.

So he was supposed to beat the likes of Chris Long, Michael Brockers, Robert Quinn, William Hayes, Ernie Simms, etc? What is wrong with you, dude? Those guys make up the 9 defensive linemen they kept. He lost out to Westbrooks, period. A guy who does many things. It's really not that simple.

although I liked Thompson as a end of the roster guy when he was at Florida State. Seastrunk has a dancing problem though, and he must've been worse than remedial at pass blocking (his size doesn't help there either).
