Hope Tyler Boyd's injury isn't too bad, though. That would be a disaster.

I thought Dontre/Jalin/Marshall/Zeke looked fantastic...pair that up with Brax and a more seasoned opine and this offense could be filthy.

from an entirely selfish point of view, braxton getting hurt was a blessing in disguise. he wouldn't have had the surrounding cast this year to make it to a NC.

I'm extremely discouraged by our offense today but our offensive line is bad and our LT has basically been letting rushers run right at our QB all day.

I'm not reading too much into this though. An early start time on the east coast, coupled with a long travel always means a disadvantage and early struggles for west coast teams.

I'm not reading too much into this either but the plays I watched him on were absolutely horrific... I'm not looking forward to this guy facing the Leonard Williams of college football.

Clemson is now stronger than they have been at any time in my memory

But they still arent what they think they are

and we were 10 point underdogs. After last years disaster of a season this win feels great.

Defense seems improved, the first half offense was unstoppable but the second half offense was mostly bad. We still have to improve in the offensive running game.

dykes really sees rubenzer as the future, even if that future is sooner than everyone else thinks. i just hope goff gets a real chance to show what he's got because i think he can be great.

also, i hope dykes and tony franklin stay with the run and give the corps and the o-line a chance to gel and improve. not feeling lasco's lack of ball security, even putting aside the drop/interception. the ball is exposed a lot. i hope he can square that away.

Badgers fans should get used to it with Andy Ludwig as their OC.

I was surprised to learn that Cam Cameron is now the OC for LSU.

i like anderson but he's beginning to show a trend of not getting it done when shit is on the line

at least the favorites I watched.

FSU -- Jameis made a couple bad reads but otherwise looked great. better throwing motion, some gorgeous completions (the missile that hit Greene in stride, right over his shoulder? shit) and showed his huevos whenever it got close. I'd say the real concern is how shitty their experienced OL blocked.

Georgia -- beat Clemson replacing most of their offense, at home, and you're a national title contender? good win but hold on.

bama -- ESPN's Harold and Maude sideline cam got annoying after about 10 minutes. hopefully Kiffin goes back to the booth soon. defense looked uninspiring against Clint-fing-Trickett. nobody in their back seven looked like a game-changer.

UCLA -- awful. Hundley barely pulled off his usual "scramble/dink-and-dunk/miss all the deep throws" game FTW.

While I generally agree with your assessment I think it is still a little too early to jump to any conclusions.

LSU looked good beating coming back and beating Wisconsin. At least Bama and Georgia played someone with a pulse and not some FCS bunching bag like Oregon.

While I don't expect Fresno State to be very good and defense is always optional for Fresno State, SC looked great on Saturday in their first game under Sark.

Wisconsin Cam Cameron'd that game away. defense has had mass defections two years running and it's showing, even against one of the worst throwing quarterbacks I've ever seen start a D-I game. LSU offense was surprisingly stagnant on the ground despite Collins, Alexander, two experienced backs, and legend-already Leonard Fournette plodding around like Derrick Green in his first season.

although the Tigers still might be in it since there's no runaway contender in the SEC right today.

I didnt think Jameis looked consistently good throughout the game tho. Some incredible throws with as many baffling ones.

He got lucky not to have at least one more pick when that LB dropped one late. Could have been disastrous.

I knew the offense would be bad, but the defense has to do better. We were ok last year, and we returned 8 starters...


We had them in 3rd and long at least 6 times in the first half, and got 0 stops...Our only stops were two fumbles recovered. Awful
