it was a good move for them because it allowed them to attract dwight.
but it's crazy how many people think okc blew it there. if they'd kept him they'd be in no better position and it would have stalled out the development of their cheaper players.

Harden NEEDS the ball to be impactful......when you already have KD/Russy fighting over the ball I'm not sure how that would have worked out as they all reach their primes.
The last team to win a chip w/ trio of perimeter players dominating the ball were Dumars/Zeke/Microwave. Even then Dumars impacted the game w/o touching the ball, Zeke was an elite distributor & Microwave wasn't a volume scorer. Plus they had a quality supporting cast along w/ Mark Aguirre helping out in the scoring department. Had they chosen to keep Harden over Ibaka then they would have had Collision manning the paint along w/ Perk.

On offense Harden/KD was ALWAYS a better duo that Russy/KD.....KD was also closer to Harden than Russy personally. With that said Harden's underwhelming performance in 2012 Finals was probably the final straw along w/ how well Ibaka played in the WCF. Not to mention that Russy could dominate a game w/o touching the ball WHEN HE PUTS HIS MIND ON IT thus management may have thought he was a better Scottie than Harden.

Ibaka might get worn down if the Grizz can muster to force a Gm. 5 otherwise he beats Z-Bo down the court & is dominating the paint defensively which make life difficult on Conley when he drives. OKC is very good at running shooters off the 3 pt line thus they just have to stick to Pick-n-Pop w/ Gasol, cuts & pounding the ball w/ Z-Bo...plus quit shooting long jumper & play at a slow pace since OKC is making an emphasis on beating the Grizz down the floor for easy buckets.

Basically. I'll give points to OKC. They played some goos defense in the first half. But the Grizz went to work doing what they do in the 3rd, but somehow got off after OKC started getting calls. Mike has GOTTA get it going cause that was embarrassing.
