it's weird, I really don't enjoy him on TV most of the time because of how incredulous he comes off about every little thing as if it's a bold-face A1 storyline, but I'm totally fine with him on his podcasts and have read his articles fairly regularly for nearly 10 years maybe? but he just sounds like such a curmudgeon on TV most of the time.

The 2 best players in that series (Gasol/Z-Bo) have never been accused of being athletic. All that happened was Conley put the clamps on Top5 & Z-Bo had his way w/ AARP card holder McDyess. Not to mention that Manu had to go up against Tony Allen/Battier while sporting an elbow brace & to make matters worse George Hill disappeared.

Their success in 2011 was what made Rudy expandable. Mayo/Conley are average athletes for their position, Battered has never been accused of being athletic & Young was a scrub. There really wasn't much of an athleticism advantage but more so it was the Grizz's physicality that wore down the Spurs. That was the season that earned them the label "Grit & Grind".

That I count on when shit is tight down the stretch. That mofo can get a good shot on basically anybody because he has about 3 or 4 finishing moves that are basically unstoppable that all start off similarly. I guess Truth is from a world where bullrushing the basket and trying to flop it up isn't the base offense for half of the league's stars.

Derozan played like a winner in the second half.
What a game. If the raps can win a game with 21 turnovers and minimal pts from Lowry and Ross, imagine what they could do with 10 turnovers.
I think this win shows the raps that they can beat this team and don't have to be afraid or nervous. Just play their fast break game. The leaders all step up and it's all good. Lowry and derozan both need to go off in bk for game 3
