what's the adjustment for felton's lack of defense?

-The Knicks’ coaching search still includes a lone frontrunner, Kurt Rambis, whose qualifications for the position include a strong relationship with Jackson and a willingness to take the job.

He just can't do it. we've seen this movie before, shumpert. douglas , etc. And I'm no felton fan either. And as much as people kill Felton for his horrible defense (rightfully so) lillard is just as bad maybe even worse.

but if you in woody's shoes, if you bench felton for toure and lose, you gonna get fired lol.

If you stick with felton and lose, well felton gets to share that blame, along with the gm and woody can say he's sticking with his best guys.

If I'm woody, and on the hot seat I'd only make that move as a last ditch effort to save my job, like i know i'm getting canned anyway might as well start throwing everything at the wall.

On the same token, you garnered the team's respect by holding cats accountable for bad defense and bad play. You did it with JR, Beno, and Bargs...Felton shouldn't be excused from that

I agree overall, unless they make the playoffs and make a push, he's gone, so stick with your best guys. But if you made your bones about holding cats accountable, might have to pull Felton a couple times

I too would like to see Murry get some more playing time if only because he puts forth some effort defensively. Since that doesn't appear to be happening, they should just let Shumpert defend the more dangerous guard on the other team. Shumpert's defense hasn't been great this year either, but whatever. They're pretty much fucked either way. Portland is just gonna launch open 3's all night anyway.

Just sometimes I'd like to see Shumpert on the opposing team's best perimeter player. Portland just has a lot of talented dudes unfortunately for the Knicks, so there's nowhere to hide Felton.

silly fouls. The roster is flawed and the coach isn't a genius.

It should be a bloodbath.

Then again..the Knicks make ABSOLUTELY NO SENSE...so Felton should hit every floater that he tosses up and somehow the Knicks will win by 20.

Melo had a killer 1st quarter. 6-7. 14 points. Pity the rest of the team only scored 7.

2nd quarter. I literally just said to myself how I really like this Stoudemire, Smith, Priggie Smalls, Timmy Jr, Tyler lineup RIGHT before Amare yammed it on old dudes head. Thanks Woody.

I love Melo. But its so ridiculous that he has to be on the bench for the ball to move.

NBA rule 3I states no team may be reduced to less than five players. Last guy to foul out stays in, gets tech + more techs for each foul

I just looked at the scoreboard & noticed the 2OT......and I nearly lost it. I can't believe it was Timmay that handed the ball to Wall to send the game into double OT. How the fuck do you blow a 6 pt lead w/ 45 sec left w/o giving up any 3 pointer when the other team is forced to intentionally foul & you're not missing FTs.

NBA rule 3I states no team may be reduced to less than five players. Last guy to foul out stays in, gets tech + more techs for each foul

If bron or any superstar fouls out cant they just say all bench players are injured. Nash's reason was "rest".
Easily take the extra techs to keep bron in the game.

We wonder if this rule could ever be exploited by a team whose star had five fouls late in a close game: make sure every other bench player gets "injured," and while you take the temporary hit of a technical foul free throw, that's a pretty small price to pay to ensure your best player stays on the floor even if he fouls out.

We even got a Machine appearance.....he looked quite confused.

And refs really need to stop calling that walk-away tech, you gotta give these guys some leeway in the heat of battle.

More importantly the overall offense is worse, but yeah he is showing that the team can reply on him to make a play even when CP isn't around and thats huge. I can see them going the route where they spell Blake and CP separately to have at least one on the court at a time. Especially seeing as CP can kill it with Reddick-Dudley-Barnes-DJ line ups

rule. It should be a no call if there is contact on a leg kickout unless its egregious imo because that can be a natural shooters motion.

They shoulda let the tech go tho.

pause the video at 6 secs and 42 seconds...he clearly has his leg out and the defender seems to be jumping across his body.

They been pretty consistently teching guys up for running down the court like that...ask lebron. not saying i agree with that either tho.

He stuck his leg out and I'm glad the league is cracking down on offensive players trying to cause fouls this way.

The tech though was unnecessary.
While Lowry was running away to keep from reacting,
his running WAS the reaction, and the refs called a tech on that.
I think refs need to do a better job of knowing the difference.

in that situation. A kickout is a normal shooting motion in some situations like curls or fadeways or just some players motion. That shoulda been a no-call in my opinion. They need to change that rule.
