a loudmouth WR like Carter is still a loudmouth. And ESPN gave him cred and a live mic on a regular basis to help add to his career and help him get eventually into the Hall (if we're being honest).

And it is SO easy to get at that desk and say harsh and negative things about current players when you're wearing a suit. But when those same players get in a position to strike back in today's twitter, live mics everywhere, coverage craziness, etc? You're gonna get it back all the way. Especially from a team filled with 'mufukka's never luh'd us...worst behavior!' dudes.

And for CC, it is far too late to play the 'get over it, guys' card. He was attacking those dudes even in the lead-up to the Super Bowl. AKA he was too bold to moonwalk out of it. And then...those dudes went out there and made plays in a game that played out like a 3-hour murder: players, coaches, legacies, and all sorts of ideas about stats, talent, and skill players got hiptossed off a 10-story cliff. Denver's dudes were flustered early, tired of getting hit soon after, and in a helluva hole a little after that. It was crazy.

Baldwin, Tate, Kearse--those mfers play hard. you wouldn't draft them,
but they are perfect for that team. all-around football players.
you gotta respect the work they put in

Nicks was kinda on that level when he won.

You could make the same argument about "superstar" QB's though, except for Rodgers guys who are universally considered all-time greats at the position have not taken home that much jewelry in last few go rounds.

No. He said Nicks was the last superstar receiver to win a super bowl. I know he's not talking about Hakeem Nicks so who is he talking about?

Superstar is a big word, so maybe not. He was a first round pick playing at a Pro-Bowl level.

But here we go to my previous contention that you could also say how many superstar QB's have won chips recently? Last five SB's, I am coming up with a grand total of one.

i guess tim brown, TO and randy moss arent shit either compared to doug baldwin

cris carter can say whatever the fuck he wants to any WR in the league except Jerry Rice and Randy Moss.

he might look stupid saying whatever he says on tv (i personally cant stand the sound of his voice or his analysis) but he put numbers on the board.

Outside of the Patriots, in the playoffs the Seahawks might have had the worst receiving core if we're being real.

39. "Carolina Has a Worse Receiving Corp"

Especially with a banged up Steve Smith
You can argue that the Chiefs has a worse WR corp. as well, even though Bowe is better than all the SEA WR's

And as a whole from the league, they are better than probably half the teams in the league. I'd KILL for that corp on the Jets, and that's saying a LOT

And it STILL doesn't let CC off the hook for talking that shit...he can say what he wants, but they have every right to talk shit back to him.

I think Golden Tate is going to get paid in the offseason because there aren't that many free agent WRs...you can argue that Tate is the 2nd best WR in free agency behind Decker...

People will say Nicks is 2nd, but he shat a brick for the Giants this season...teams are gonna offer him that much...

Baldwin told him what he found. that was some good ether.

-The Knicks’ coaching search still includes a lone frontrunner, Kurt Rambis, whose qualifications for the position include a strong relationship with Jackson and a willingness to take the job.

I'm appalled at this because they're world champs. Let Andrew or RG3 win a chip with the same defense and people will herald them as LONS.

RW is the offense beyond Lynch.

Before him:

Tate was basically a bust. Golden Tate was example #1 of why you don't pick undersized receivers early.

Zach Miller was fighting John Carlson for PT. Neither of them are better than the TE on any other team.

Doug Baldwin...scrappy and plays hard. Bout it.

Jermaine Kearse might be a quality #3 at BEST

Offensive line has one quality player who was borderline a bust himself in Okung. And Okung is always hurt anyway. Wilson's ability to make plays through the air and on the ground AFTER protection breaks down is SO crucial to this team's success.

Russell Wilson shows up and turns this into an efficient SB winning offense. That is nothing short of amazing.

Fuck the Hawks tho
