When they're playing well the Nets are really tough to deal with, so many options. No one is gonna have big numbers because they'll be very balanced. Brook lopez is much bigger this year. Gordon Hayward is gonna get paid this summer as will Kanter when his deal is up. Favours drifts in and out way too much. Utah is gonna have a long year.

He was just a disaster pretty much every second on the court. Like, if the Knicks just traded him over to Charlotte's bench for Ewing, and let Pat play, it probably would've gone better. I'd like to think that if he gets used to the situation of playing every other game for only like 10-15 minutes, he could play better. But even that seems like a stretch based on tonight.
And the Knicks saying Tyson's x-rays were "inconclusive" is terrifying because knowing the Knicks that means it could range anywhere from Tyson misses a few games to Tyson's leg just fell off. If he's out for any more than a few games, it's going to get even uglier.
Oh, and fuck Kemba Walker. If I like a basketball team at any level, that dude's gonna come out and murder them pretty much every time they play. He hit a few step backs tonight that gave my horrifying Gary McGhee flashbacks.

Yeah, he's seemed a bit off so far. There's part of me that wonders if his shoulder thing is still bugging him, which he's said it isn't, or maybe he's worried about re-injurying it, as it seems like he's really avoiding taking the ball inside this year. He did it a bunch last year, but took a lot of hits from bigger guys at the same time. Eh, we'll see. I think he'll turn it around. There's a lot of other issues to worry about, unfortunately.

4 games in 5 nights (most of it on a road trip).
Going into Portland and playing a traditionally tough team at home. Much better defense all around, and we did a better job of attacking on offense. Hate to harp on it, but this is one of those games we woulda lost last season. We've passed 3 mini tests so far this season. The last test will be: beating elite teams like the Clippers. We have another shot on Saturday.
This was Dwight's best game of the season and arguably Harden's. Good to see what we can do when those guys are clicking together.
Great to have Bev back - he didnt seemed slowed by the injury at all.
Lillard's a hell of a shooter. He might be the second best shooting pg after Steph. Kyrie could be in that argument too. On the flip side, I wonder about him as a pg of a winning team.
