One thing that immediately sticks out is....

Maximum Games

Each spot on your roster (not each player) allows for a maximum number of games played.
This table shows you how many of each you have used, how many you have remaining, your projected pace and the maximum allowed.

Once you exceed the maximum, you will no longer accumulate stats for the position.


So basically, rather than just blindly setting whoever is playing that night into your lineup (or your top players if space is limited) we are only going to have our PG position filled 82 times per year?

Personally I think its a good thing and prevents the "streaming" players stratagy

I didn't play last year and never seen this setting before so to me this is brand new, but I agree, makes you put more thought in setting your lineup than putting every one who is playing that night in.

How does this work come playoff time though? Should we be saving games for the playoff weeks or does it reset and a new limit start after the regular season?

well right now the league is set for rotisserie as opposed to head-to-head, I kind of like rotisserie scoring for basketball but if more people want to to head-to-head we can do that. The fantasy playoffs would still be during the actual NBA regular season.

So we change our lineups daily? in accordance to who is playing that particular night. But the scoring is weekly? and is accumulated to the numbers racked up by the guys you played from day to day that week?

I never actually sat down and attempted to understand this shit lol

So lets say you start your PG tonight and he plays, now you have 81 left. So you might want to save most of your starts for your MAIN PG rather than your 2nd fiddle, or else by midseason you won't be able to start any one else at that spot.
