John - 5 straight years of playoffs (Never Missed), 2 AFCN titles, 3 AFC Championship appearances, and a Lombardi...

Jim got a LOT of catching up to do.

team was stacked with pro bowlers last year
if anything the turn around shows just how SHIT a coach romeo crennel is (another OE L btw)
andy has done a fabulous job not fucking it up by keeping his offense basic so alex smith can do what he does best
while the defense coordinator keeps the score manageable ala Jim Johnson

they had six (!) Pro Bowlers last year. the reason they could give up two second rounders for Smith is because they were already talented enough to win now.
