but the only criticism I have of their running game this season is from the 1st game when we had the ball in the red zone and called 1 running play....
I think Schot and Fisher realized going into this week that Cunningham deserves the short yardage touches ...which is why Stacy was IA for today's game...
hard to judge though on this game...
and although I think our running games should be better...I think using the 3 we have...the way we attempted to use them today is the way to go moving forward...
and remember....we have the Redskins 1st pick in the next draft too....

his only have 10 carries is not because he didn't get a chance...
He did nothing in the pre-season last year to suggest he should be ahead of Richardson. During the actual games last year he did nothing to pass Richardson..
then he gets in trouble in the offseason...
then in the pre-season this year he did nothing to surpass D Richardson....
even the reports out of practices talk about Pead lacking aggressiveness running between the tackles..... Richardson is just much better at him than that...
Pead was given the first opportunity to back up Jax last year....Richardson took the job from him.....

Pead at every step of the way...and continues to do so...
in fact the only reason Pead is still on the team is because he was a 2nd round pick...not because he's actually done anything in practice....in pre-season games...or in regular season games to deserve more touches than Richardson...
Richardson earned the right to come into came as the #1 guy because of his play..he earned his spot..earned his touches...
tape don't lie..... Pead's only use is on the edges or as a receiver in the passing game.... every time he runs between the tackles he goes down on first contact...plus he fumbles...

there are a couple of good runningbacks coming out in the draft and the Redskins are looking pretty bad..lol..

same crap different toilet. Smith still not playing best available players, still abandoning the no-huddle, still trying to max protect instead of spreading formations, DeCoud still can't tackle, Spoon still injury prone, still collapsing in the 3rd quarter. BUT the rookie CBs are damn good, and once the O-line gets on the same page, they're gonna be real good. hope SJ39 is ok cause we have no type of run game without him. gonna be interesting to see what we do without Bierman & Asante.
