I added a few after browsing through last years posts. oh, and while Ceej was smart to willingly *not* post a lineup that one week, him reposting before Saturday's games nullifies the rule (even if he was doing it for scoring purposes). so Hectic was right.
Scoring - Scoring is done by yourself and your opponent for the week. If no score totals are posted by either player, those games will NOT count. - Scores are to be posted in the weekly thread, by Monday at the latest (failure to do so will result in a double forfeit). It’s up to each player to check for his own and his opponent’s accuracy. - ESPN will be the only official website for box scores (Yahoo is still used for player position ID). No discrepancies from other sites will be accepted. Fumbles lost / recovered are NOT counted due to the inaccuracy of this stat across multiple websites OVERTIME STATISTICS DO NOT COUNT FOR OFFENSE OR DEFENSE. I-AA opponents count with no penalty. - Scoring discrepancies must be announced in the thread or changed by the end of every Monday (Okayplayer time). That includes notification of ineligible starting players. If there is a discrepancy in a teams' total points for the season, inform the commish immediately.
Lineups - All lineups must be posted in the weekly lineup thread before Saturday at 12 p.m. EDT. Players who are in Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday games must be posted as starting before those games begin (the rest of the lineup may be filled in later). - Starting lineups must include position, first and last government names and school. Illegible lineups or ones that omit the above information are subject to disqualification and a forfeit for that week (commissioner’s discretion). - Any ineligible players will count as zero if posted as starters. The rest of the team will be scored as normal. - In the event that an owner fails to post a lineup, his last team lineup posted will be used with no changes. For week one, the top seven players drafted by said owner will be used to fill the lineup. - Any owner who does not post a lineup for two consecutive weeks is automatically disqualified from the playoffs.
Position eligibility - Players’ positions are defined by Yahoo Sports only (not Rivals team sites). A player listed at running back who switches to receiver may only be played as the latter if Yahoo makes the corresponding change.
Waivers - Owners who claim a waiver on Tuesday (or the first day the lineup thread is posted) are limited to one per week. Waiver claims made on days thereafter may be up to two per week. Players added through waivers must stay rostered for a minimum of two weeks. - The first four owners to claim a waiver on Tuesday will not be allowed to claim their following week’s waiver until that Wednesday. For ex: Team A adds a player on Tuesday, right after waivers open. Team A is not allowed to claim a waiver the following Tuesday, but may do so on Wednesday or any day thereafter before Saturday, 12 p.m. EDT. - Waivers are claimed during the weekly lineup thread, which will be posted every Tuesday after 12 p.m. EDT. Claims are awarded based on post time stamps, with the earlier times having priority. Edited waiver claims will go by time of last edit. - To claim a player, the following must be included: position, first and last government name, school, and the condition of being added. the same format must be used for players being dropped, all in the same message. For ex:
ADD: QB Josh Nunes, Stanford DROP: QB Tyler Bray, Tennessee
- Waivers that omit the above information, or are not easily identifiable (including misspellings), MAY be disqualified. Waivers that put a team over their roster limit of 15 WILL be disqualified. - Owners will not be penalized with a drop if their waiver request is for a player that has already been claimed or is on a roster. - All waiver claims for the week must be posted before Saturday, 12 p.m. EDT. Waivers posted between then and the following Tuesday will be disqualified. - Waivers should be posted under the listed reply marked "Waivers" in the lineup thread -- do not bury your waiver request inside your lineup post. Unclear waiver requests may be voided. - The dates of waiver claims and holdover penalties are defined by EDT on Okayplayer.
Schedule / Postseason - This is a head to head league with a regular season that lasts 10 weeks. - Team standings are by record, followed by total points. I will keep track of both and post them weekly. The top six teams make playoffs, with the top two earning first week byes. - Playoffs are single elimination. - Tie-breakers for inclusion to the playoffs will be done by total points, then head to head record, then the final week's point total, then the final combined two weeks' point total. --------
