i remember watching Garcia taking 4 or 5 of some of Kendall Holt's best shots a few years ago, and Matthysse walked right through the type of hard Zab Judah shots that buzzed Garcia last time out.

maybe THE hardest before the emergence of Matthysse and Garcia. Kendall Holt put niggas to sleep. maybe u don't remember him putting Tim Bradley on his ass. twice. or this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yaDqG5CbMaM
Holts issues have always been defense and a suspect chin, but that has nothing to do with the point i made.

garcia got lucky against khan then fought old ass morales and zab haymon protected and built up his hype as much as he could, lol now it's time to cash out garcia ain't ever going head line a PPV so being on the undercard of a mayweather fight is probably the biggest payday he can get not bad for a dude who is eventually going get exposed anyway then of course there's the off chance he beats lucas which is still a win for haymon

yep. anybody who knows anything about boxing can see danny garcia is B class at best. there are very, very few elite/A+ fighters in the 140-147 class right now. although there are some good match ups.
danny was lucky that amir khan, is amir khan. morales and judah?? well played al haymon/gbp.
i can't wait for the day angel garcia no longer has a platform to speak to the boxing masses.
i'm kinda disappointed this is on the Floyd/Canelo undercard. it's more than worthy of being it's own event, and now 2 great nights for boxing in the 2nd half of the year has turned into 1
but fuck it, i'm happy' than a mufucka that the fight finally got made
now all roads to respect from 140-147 will lead to Matthysse. no one who claims to be the best at either weight will be able to avoid him... and there will be nowhere for Broner to hide, IF he even gets past Maidana

1. Too good to be true. i won't even believe Floyd/Canelo is goin down til i see them walking out the locker room on fightnight.
2. if Canelo wins, that won't be a fair fight for either of the 2 jr welters. i mean shit, why don't Canelo move up fight Adonis Stevenson or Froch at 168. it would be a ridiculous matchup.

Matthysse can't beat a technical boxer? lol. u probably saw his record on boxrec and came up with that shit... but if u watched him fight, u would have seen that he probably didn't lose 1 round against Devon Alexander. haven't seen the fight since it happened, but i'm sure u can't find 3 rounds that u can say he won and keep a straight face. plus he put Devon on his ass, just like he did Zab.
the only ring technicians Matthysse has lost to were the house promoters.

I'm not saying Lucas isn't good. He is, but he is nothing special because he is one dimensional. He has great, great power, but he is not technical, and he leaves himself open. A very skillful fighter would box circles around him. Judah has been done, but lucas had a hard time dealing with judah, because judah BOXED him.
Lucas already has two losses, and I can name 4-5 WW who can beat him.
and you need to watch that judah fight again from beginning to end....Judah outboxed him and stayed away from his power. He was knocked down in the 10th round after doing some great work through the first 9 rounds.,,,and judah was the old guy. lucas should not have had problems with judah like that.
Lucas is good, but can easily be dismantled by a highly skilled boxer in my opinion.
