Birthday: 4/3/81 NBA Position: Shooting Guard Class: HS Senior Ht: 6-5 Wt: 210 Hometown: Fresno, CA High School: Washington Union
NBA Comparison: Michael Jordan
Strengths: Special player. Extremly gifted athlete. Great ball handler. Very advanced shooter and scorer for his age. A showstopper. Can play the 1 or 2. Won the McDonald's High School dunk contest. Super character. As NBA ready as any HS player in his class.
Weaknesses: Tries to do too much at times. Learning how to be a consumate team player, something his idol Kobe still must learn himself. Gets criticized for being too fancy, still has alot of basketball to learn."
Its sounds funny now but I saw him play in a couple of hs all-star games and while I didn't think he'd be Jordan I thought he'd be a really good NBA player. He still managed to carve out a decent career as a defensive specialist/shooter but he was never the player I thought he would be. Honestly I think those early years in Utah with Jerry Sloan might've retarted his offensive development.
The "Super character" comment is kinda funny seeing is how he got busted in a hotel with booze and underage girls his rookie year, lol.
I was just looking at Orlando's salary situation and I noticed that while Gilbert Arenas is amnestied he made over $20mil this year and will make over $22mil next year?! I hope he is managing it well and we don't hear about this dude being broke in a few years... http://hoopshype.com/salaries/orlando.htm

She gets her hands on it (or him), and he'll be another cautionary tale
9. "Well, he did just get arrested for driving a truckload of illegal firewo..." In response to Reply # 4
Dude got pulled over for speeding and th cops found 20 boxes of fireworks in his truck. The genius was only charged with a misdemeanor, but it was still i rather dumb all things considered. I think he still has $60 million coming to him, so he's got that going for him, which is nice.

I remember seeing Mason Plumlee compared to Yi Jianlin. Yeah, maybe HIGH SCHOOL Mason, lol. After four years at Duke, his game is now completely different than Yi. Oddest of comparisons-- you'd think they'd update or, y'know, watch.
You scroll through many of those comparisons and find head-scratchers regularly. Their mocks are generally questionably too.
