lebron
durant
paul
chandler
parker

overall win shares 2012
james
durant
paul
love
chandler

win shares per 48 2011
james
howard
gasol
paul
chandler

this reeks of statistical malfeasance

-The Knicks’ coaching search still includes a lone frontrunner, Kurt Rambis, whose qualifications for the position include a strong relationship with Jackson and a willingness to take the job.

Guess who is?

Cry, Melo is a star, and Tyson is not.

Just. Plain. wrong

And anyone that's watched the playoffs would see what's happened to Chandler

And Melo doesn't get any protection...no matter how bad anyone else on the team plays, if they lose it's all on him

are you seriously trying to inject a semantic discussion of "star" in which it's not about production but popularity? no thanks. to simplify for you and the costacos brothers, i'm talking about being great at basketball.

Blame them. Melo ain't their babysitter. They're grown men responsible for their own performance.

And Melo hasn't been all that good either in the playoffs, but he hasn't been pure ass like 6th man of the year, or mostly ass like first team all defense.

i'd see guys who were bonafide stoppers (allen has been his whole career, e snow was, iggy was) and they'd lose out to more offensively talented guys with bigger names. they try to reconcile this periodically.

i'm convinced the coaches don't get an appropriate cross section of tape or they are impressed by the guys who give above average effort on D despite being asked to score a lot. i kind of get that.

on the media side, i mean, honestly, having seen some of the shit that goes on covering games, i really don't think the writers as a whole are a well informed group. there are people in all sports who get votes that really have no idea what they are talking about. particularly if a newspaper has one of these columnists whom they send to every type of event. those people cover the sport 10% of the time, they shouldn't be treated like a beat writer in terms of voting, but they are.

And you will know MY JACKET IS GOLD when I lay my vengeance upon thee.

I watched the tape myself, and there's open looks. We have to be willing passers. You have to sacrifice yourself sometimes for the betterment of the team, for the betterment of your teammates. So when you drive in the paint, you draw, you kick it. We need to do a better job of allowing the game to dictate who takes the shots and not the individuals.

WHAT'S GOOD *****? What's REALLY good?!?!????!!! Ha HA!

the knicks are losing because the offense has gone totally to shit, but tyson is taking all the blame after a couple good outings by hibbert. the knicks scored 30 FUCKING POINTS below their season average, but everyone's like BOOOO CHANDLER

by the way, tyson is leading the team in scoring efficiency during the postseason -- might be wise to figure out a way to get him more than two shots a game.
