and look at the growth. however taking off the south Beach glasses I gotta give it to Kevin Mckhale I mean who saw the rockets that deep and rolling on winging it alone?

i mean James hardin done flipped the script for two teams and he is in the top 6 argument for MVP consideration IMO.

youngest team in the league? he should finish top 3.

Houston is like a game behind GS.

-The Knicks’ coaching search still includes a lone frontrunner, Kurt Rambis, whose qualifications for the position include a strong relationship with Jackson and a willingness to take the job.

they flopped & then blatantly were tanking by season's end.

I don't see why I'm going to give him an award this year for how many games he lost last year.

They traded their top scorer, Ellis, half-way through the season for a guy who didn't play a single game for the team last year and is just now getting back into form. Last year they probably had the thinnest bench in the league, with guys like Brandon Rush and Dominic McGuire and Charles Jenkins logging substantial minutes for them. It's a small miracle the Warriors even got twenty something wins.

but he put melo back in the game down 20 on a bad knee. hell he kept him out there on a bad knee when melo asked out. no COY winner would ever do something so fucking stupid.

and that middle stretch where they meh'd it up.

it's probably spo. came back off the chip, rang off a 27 game streak, got dwade to buy in to being a superb compliment, and they're even winning when they're resting all their guys.

the most, and imo, that's either woody, mchale, or jackson.

out of those 3, the knicks seem like the only actual contender. they may not be able to beat the heat, but they def have the best shot out in the east + w/ taking the division + the streak + w/ the way he has jr and cope and prigioni and other role players playing A-game, I think its his.

the rox and the warriors are def good, but neither of these coaches turned their teams from non-contenders into real contenders like woody did. esp the rox who probably saw a jump in wins just from getting harden.

They've had plenty of injuries as well but have been a top 2 seed in the east all season.

Done in the playoffs.

I'm not sure what you're saying tho

-The Knicks’ coaching search still includes a lone frontrunner, Kurt Rambis, whose qualifications for the position include a strong relationship with Jackson and a willingness to take the job.

I'm saying the Nets have been at relative full strength all season, and the Bulls haven't had Rose all year...the Nets were a damn 4 seed, that's about what they were SUPPOSED to do, right? The Bulls overachieved.

Tibs, M Jax, and Pop would be my COTY votes.

Very bad losses.

I love thibs but they still have a playoff caliber team without rose. They only won 45 games during the year. That's about right were they were projected.

Without a doubt. Why isn't he on the poll? He should win this easily to me. Him or Mark Jackson. No Hollins on the poll? What about Doc Rivers? Woody did a good job, but not a COTY job. Spoelstra just feels like he's a fuckin avatar for Pat Riley. The rest of these guys we've seen them at their peak so it's kind of a wash.
