Luckily, I decided not to waste my time & tuned off when I found out WoW/Bron were sitting it out. Not sure what to make of this game but it seems like the Spurs big line up ain't going to work against the Heat if Bosh keeps stroking it form the outside as if his name is Dirk Nowitzki.

WHAT'S GOOD *****? What's REALLY good?!?!????!!! Ha HA!

...but the fans are the ultimate losers here, not Pop or the Spurs. All of this micro level posturing is effecting the macro level constituency.

Imagine being, like, 11 years old in San Antonio and waiting MONTHS to see LeBron in person and then this happens. Hoe shit started by Popovich and ended by Spo.

when the games really count. Sitting your star players out for a couple of games over the course of an 82 game season is not that unreasonable. It's doesn't hurt or destroy the product. Coaches should be free to do whatever helps the TEAM win a championship.

Would you be singing the same tune if it involved one of your teams??? Let's say the 'Skins are playing the Cowboys for the regular season finale. The 'Skins got a playoff spot already locked up and the Cowboys don't. Some kid in the Dallas area who happens to be a HUGE RGIII fan gets a ticket to the game. Shanny decides to use logic and sit RGIII out and rest him and some other starters up for the upcoming post-season. Would you be crying foul in this situation? I'll wait...

with a game-winner, and an episode of coaching gamesmanship
that was pretty hilarious and one-of-a-kind.

Further, after going on a 28 game winning streak, Lebron & Wade
(who himself had already been sitting out games) - it was wise
to sit them and give them a bit of a rest to recharge their faculties
after the emotionally and physically taxing historic streak.

Their job is to get them ready for the playoffs, period - and
that's what they are doing.

ny...they still need to beat out San an for the best record in the league.

not that it mattered in the end.

-The Knicks’ coaching search still includes a lone frontrunner, Kurt Rambis, whose qualifications for the position include a strong relationship with Jackson and a willingness to take the job.

Had they lost they would only be 1-up on SAS for home court (though I honestly don't think SAS will be in the Finals). Kind of a risky move, but it didn't matter in the end.

these types of stunts are almost always done on the road.

It was my fav. thing Spo has ever done, even though I fully
realize that Riles was likely the engine behind the snark.

I would say that up until January of this year, I didn't
really feel Spo & Co. had implemented a strong enough
system. Even during the playoffs & finals, they largely won
because of the anomalous play of James. But I'd argue
Boston & Indiana had better *systems* than Miami
in terms of how they ran their sets.

Understandable that it would take a couple years
before this unit could develop real rapport, but it's
a bit scary if they can continue to stay true to this
brand of basketball they've developed, particularly
if they keep executing like they have been since
late january.

he runs the second team nicely.

to me the tag team of Lewis and Allen will be three times scary in the post season.

the defense and spacing is sick.

birdman was a huge pick up in the box. Haslem is healthy and he is key.

Spo has just found the balance and temperment which works so well. to me this is the first year where he has that attitude of i know what i want. the first year they were winging it and last year we gotta bring it and prove it, this year it is smooth and to beat the spurs at there own style in there building further proofs that point.
