I mean, he's not going to be a peak performer and you probably need a good change of pace back to get some carries to spell him but I think he's gone one or two more solid years left in him. I'd say he's kind of like Corey Dillon heading to NE. Not a lot left in the tank but it should be enough.
He's also a much better receiver than Turner so he'll help more in the passing game.

the season before Dillon came to NE, he rushed for like 500 yards. Steven carried the ball for 1,042 yards and a little over 4 yards per carry this past season...with a joke for an offensive line. He catches really well out the back field, like you said, plus he's very good at picking up the blitz. He's gonna be a magnificent addition to ATL's offense.

Dillon was being phased out and missed three games in his final year in Cincy. Jackson's got ten years of football on his body, I'm not sure he has more than 1 or 2 good years left.
