C - Jarrod Saltalamacchia. Listed at 235 lbs. Hit .222 last year. 1B - Mike Napoli. Eats for free in the North End. Hit .227 last year. 2B - Dustin Pedroia. Scrappy. 3B - Will Middlebrooks. Legit. SS - Stephen Drew. I never understood why they didn't resign Orlando Cabrera. How much money did he want? Nobody at that position since has been as good as Cabrera. LF - Johnny Gomes. This is the position of Yastrzemski, Rice, Greenwell, and Ramirez. CF - Jacoby Ellsbury. They say it was disease and the Sharps rifle what killed all the Native Americans, but I think it was a lack of toughness. RF - Shane Victorino. In his mid- to late-20s, Victorino was a key member of strong Phillies squads. He was born in 1980.
SP - I hope, when reading some Sox-related article later this season, to NOT read the phrase "a staff ERA approaching 5.00." RP - I hope, when reading some Sox-related article later this season, to NOT read the phrase "a staff ERA approaching 8.00."
This is the position of Yastrzemski, Rice, >Greenwell, and Ramirez.
I don't feel too bad about rebuilding this year, the rest of the division is damn good. Now if only we could get rid of the owners and the team could admit that the sellout streak is bullshit I'd feel fantastic, but baby steps are fine for now.
Btw, how did I not know that LeBron is part owner?

Mentioning Sox left fielders without Williams name is like talking A's lead-off hitters and leaving out Rickey... come on sox nation _________________________________ Reunion Radio Podcasts http://reunionradio.blogspot.com/ Twitter @therealoldpro
10. "Almost every review I've seen has Yanks and Sox in some 4th/5th order" In response to Reply # 0
Even as a Yankee fan, for that reason alone, I hope the Sox compete for the division and it somehow comes down to them and the yanks... I don't think it's impossible either, especially if the sox stay healthy and the yanks stay competitive until they get healthy

-The Knicks’ coaching search still includes a lone frontrunner, Kurt Rambis, whose qualifications for the position include a strong relationship with Jackson and a willingness to take the job.
