I'm sure Indiana is rooting for Illinois to beat the Gophers, because I don't care whether they've shown up looking like bums to some games, Minnesota has the raw talent to hang and bang. Zeller has nightmares about Mbakwe.
I know Wisconsin hasn't played too well the last few games, but they have as decent a path as they could hope for. The Michigan-Indiana path faces them against two teams that don't really enjoy playing that physical grind-it-out basketball that Bo loves. It's probably better for them than any path involving MSU. If I wanted to place money on a statistical longshot to win the whole thing, Wisconsin is an easy longshot to choose.
I can't call it before it unfolds, really. It kind of all depends who beats who up on the way to the finals. If Indiana gets an Illinois/Michigan draw, I'd favor them in the finals. If they get a Minnesota/Wisconsin draw, I'm not sure they want another poundfest with tOSU or MSU. Then again, if tOSU and MSU have tight games against Purdue and Iowa then have to beat on each other, how much energy will they have left for the finals?
If I had to guess out front, I'd say I like the winner of the tOSU/MSU game, and I like overall Ohio State's odds. All homerism aside, Matta's boys tend to at least make the finals, they've been playing strong basketball since the loss to Wisconsin, and I have far more question marks about how the top of that bracket will unfold than the bottom.

ever since Kenyon Martin and his leg in 99-00, conference tournaments make me nervous as hell ______________________ Planet Asia & Gensu Dean - Abrasions Inspectah Deck + 7L & Esoteric - CZARFACE Cocaine 80s - The Flower Of Life
I just need this squad to be healthy at the end of the weekend.
What I'd like to see this weekend from my Spartans: - an enthused BJ Dawson. When he is dailed in, he can be a problem. - Appling needs to have the mentality that he is a Scoring-Manager of the game. SpartanNation would love to see the assist-to-turnover ratio decrease as well. It's money time. - Nix needs to get bigger down low in the blocks and go up STRONG. Him looking to pass first is good, but damn(!) he passes up on wide open shots under the basket. - Energy/efficiency from the the bench: Trice, Valentine, Costello and Gauna all need to step up their respective games.
