since Wade is fairly crucial to their defenisve matchups and Kobe doesn't play team D anymore.

Could Wade be a game under .500 playing on this Laker team?

Probably.

would make his offensive load lighter and he'd be more engaged defensively. I don't think Wade has the Lakers near .500 with all that went on with the roster and coaches.

Wade actually has shown the ability to play team defense & slide into a role while getting along with teammates.

LOL @ Kobe deferring to Bron or Wade not being able to play with Howard, Nash, Gasol, etc to get to the 9/10 seed so far.

The team has been healthy together like...5 games, maybe?

Last time Wade had an injury plagued team, he won 15 games 2 years removed from winning a title.

>The team has been healthy together like...5 games, maybe?

That is a copped plea though, they had Pau when Nash wasn't there & they've had Dwight + everyone else (well, sorry, no Jordan Hill who begat a better player & at times no Steve Blake) all year.

They haven't really been bitten by the injury bug any worse than any other team, especially any other team with some age.

>Last time Wade had an injury plagued team, he won 15 games 2
>years removed from winning a title.

LOL @ comparing those two rosters.

It would be hard to be worse off with this team than DWade & Kobe not knowing his place in Miami or playing D would be a mess.

It's an utter disappointment and horribly underachieving. Even if they didn't reach the beastmode levels of preseason hype, not even being in the 8th spot is terrible.

I'm just saying Wade has a blemish or two on his resume also.

all nba every year and not give him his props but he's always respected and held kobe in high regard including recently when he called him the greatest player of his generation.

Top 4 SG all time.

the only thing kobe got over him one on one is the scoring and remember Wade can score in bunches.

but if you give Wade prime Shaq, then Gasol and dwight howard he has 5 rings as well.

remember Wade had lamar and caron in 04 in the 2 round.

kobe couldn't take Lamar past round 1 until they got Gasol.

Wade lead and then passed it on to Lebron and didn't miss a beat.

Kobe would never let dwight be the focal point ever.

D wade still plays a all around game and plays smarter and believe me he wouldn't have this laker team under 500.

wade would feed howard.

aside from a token league MVP, Wade has done it all for years man.

03/04 D Wade was a rookie and they got beat by a better pacers team who in turn lost to a better pistons team, who by the way beat the La Lakers for thetile back in 04.

yeah the west was better at that time, however detriot won the chip that year and in the east for a minute, you had to go through the D to get a crack at some jewlery.

bottom line D Wade been ballin from the jump.
